Hi. I'm looking to buy a pair of gloves for bag training and sparring. Do I need two sets? What weight would you recommend? And what is the official weight for gloves used for featherweight fighters or does it differ fight to fight?
    Cheers

To get you started---check out the Web for Reyes or Grant or Everlast --these will show you the different gloves for bag work and sparring/boxing plus prices..Officially you have to use 8 ounce gloves if you're 154lbs or under---over 154lbs and if your real name is Danielle you have to use 10 ounce --hope this helps--:smoke :smoke :smoke :smoke

im assuming you are a novice. YOu want to start with 14 oz gloves. Everlast is a good choice for you now, as you dont need a specialized pair of gloves unless you are a pro.

Dont believe the bull**** about bad mits and all that, just hit body bags with your gloves and speed bag with just your wraps on. i think bag mitts are worthless
