Honestly cant agree with the sturm fight being a robbery. Yes it was a close fight but Sturm deserved the nod.

Its all well and good working harder than an opponent, but just just throw and hit gloves all night long surely cant win you every round. To win a round for me you have to land clear, clean punches and in the closer rounds i felt Sturm did this.

I am from the UK and have watched the fight twice now and just cant give Mack the nod. It was a close fight but i had him down by 2 rounds. Not once did a see Sturm physically hurt or wobbled by any punch thrown and being a judge this is something i feel is important, not just work rate.

I had it 8 rounds to 4 for Macklin. It could easily been 9-3 for Macklin, how was the fight even close? Macklin was landing to the body and behind the gloves, yes Sturm was landing clean shots, but very few. If Sturm landed a punch, Macklin would come back and land two shots to the body. It was a CLEAR win for Macklin.

That's what I thought as well. The only clear rounds for Sturm were 10-12, and I gave him two more mid-rounds.

For me Sturm-Macklin was a lot like Froch-Johnson. Sturm landed the cleaner and harder punches but they were too few and when he did that, Macklin would came back with 2 or three shots.

easily Herrera-Dallas Jr., but Galarza-Garcia is almost up there too, but most people will pay attention to the bigger fights, but those two FNF were straight-up robberies. Matthyse/Alexander was not a robbery at all, but a close fight.

Matthysse beat Alexander, it's a shame the judges were crooks!

Look back at the early rounds of Sturms body and at the end of the fight, you telling me that body punches do not count, cos those are CLEAN punches. Easily Macklin by 3 rounds and i was giving the close rounds to the champ.

No, despite what people in here say, Alexander-Matthysse was not a close fight. I had it 96-93 Matthysse and that's generous towards Alexander. Alexander only won one round clearly imo and that was the 9th

    Macklin for sure.

    I had it 8-4 and that's conservative.
