That one punch was talked about more than Wlad workout, and I notice you didnt care to bring weigh in.

It takes two fighters to create a draw, to say just one of them is the draw is just childish.

Whether people like it or not, this fight is as big as it is because of Haye's stunts and antics the last few years, not because Wlad is a gentleman. It would still be fairly big if Haye hadnt acted this way, but not at the level it is now.

I'm somewhat of a Wlad fan (not "Wladtard" but I like him alright) and of course Haye is a great draw here, bigger than any of Wlad's previous opponents. But.. If it wasn't for Wlad being so good, dominant and all, there would be no draw whatsoever :deal

The rivalry between them two makes the draw.

Well, that's simply not true is it?7

    Pacquiao
    Mayweather
    Tyson
    Haye
    Klitschko

To name a few, could all pull a massive crowd no matter what bum they fought.

He filled a 35,000 stadium a while back( a year or so) vs some one...don't remember who the guy was, but he must have been someone.

Mostly he fills 15,000 stadiums....like vs Byrd who was not much of a draw. I was there for that one, and there were in a slightly smaller one, in Hannover vs a real nobody**, 14,000 was there for that one too.
Didn't go for the Rahamn one just down the road. He didn't even have the chance Byrd did.

It's nice when he fights in Mannheim...my ticket is my tram/streetcar/bus/local train ticket there and back too.

**Had a good undercard....my wife was so pissed of the main fight only went 2 rounds.

Pacquiao and Tyson are on a whole different level. Bottom line is for fights to have a huge draw takes two fighters, not just one.

Haye certainly did a fine job of TALKING himself up, and I'll give him mad props if he makes it past the 5th.

I believe Oscar De la Hoya would disagree with you on that. I think most people are paying to see Haye get KTFO by the "magic hand" though.

Wlad sells 60,000 tickets no matter who he fights. Haye can't do that. What Haye has brought to this fight that many other Klitschko opponents haven't brought is excitement. Haye is a popular guy in the UK, and brings a nice tv contract to the table. However Wlad is clearly a bigger draw worldwide and sells more tickets. Germany simply doesn't do ppv. That actually means his fights are available for even more people to watch, but his TV contract isn't as big. However, now that HBO has picked him up again... who knows. He had a decent contract with them too.
