i had 4k on wlad at -200....halfway through i was rooting to lose...i was rooting to be shocked i thought haye gave it a pretty good go...he landed some shots....he just wasnt able to get in position for that perfect shot.... whenever haye would attempt to go for it....wlad would either hold...get out of range...or put up the arm to fend it off.....it just seems to hard for anyone hayes size to get into range well enough late when haye landed a nice one....wlad would tie him up....haye did the flopping alot....but wlad did holding when haye was trying to actually get close enough...and its frustrating...and you could see it annoying haye just dont think anyone hayes size can beat a wlad when hes fighting that cautious style....too difficult to get into range...and when you actually do...hes going to smother you....the guys that have the size dont have the athleticism or skills....
Haye did pretty good but did not really back up his talk. He hit the air with quite a few power punches than got jabbed for trying to land something. There were very few clinches as I predicted. Haye fought way to defensive and WK did not take a big risk since he was winning a fight anyway.
he did hit the air with alot of hayemakers....its hard at that size....to get to wlad when he fights the cautious style....haye had the athleticism....but wlad will hold u up if u try to get in....he can also get out of range while putting up the arm when he goes back .....no body work from haye...then again...whenever you get close enough wlad holds your head down....
Wlad was the aggressor throughout the fight, with the exception of maybe 45 seconds total. He was stalking Haye constantly. One thing I am noticing is that at 35 Wlad has certainly peaked and is on the downside, not significantly at this point but there is no returning up.
Haye simply lacked the desire. He was hardly the agressor it was mostly kliscko going forward. if haye cou could fight half as good as he can talk it might have entertained
Haye did **** all.He quit in the third round and tried to survive. He was exposed as a braggart bull shitter.:dead
he fought in his style of potshot, countering, waiting, not pressure, not combos, the foot maybr stopped his movement forward and power, but still not excusable. wlad landed more, but i dont think he landed anything or anymore better shots. his leaning and holding is disqualifyable, and disgusting for him already being so much heavier and rangier.
:dealThis is how I saw the fight too. Haye=hype=bull**** in this case. **** poor excuse for a heavyweight unification fight.
Wlad didn't even hold much in this fight. You wanna see holding? Watch some Ali fights. I don't think Wlad's size is insurmountable, it would just take someone with talent. Tyson, Frazier, and the like could do it. What do you want Wlad to do? Let Haye hit him so he can feel better about himself and have a chance? It's haye's responsiblity to find a way to win the fight. That's like saying "Tyson is only good because he hits so hard. Every time someone would try to get in and work him over, Tyson just knocks them out. It's not even fair. He's not talented, he just has massive handspeed and power." Wlad uses his talents with a perfect gameplan to win fights.
