I had it either this or a VERY close 4 to 1 in favor of Cruz but we're talking about rounds that are a **** hair from going either way and should probably be 10-10. Cruz won, in my mind, but it's a very, very close fight and an exceptional one.
Outstruck? maybe he did no damge and Faber dropped him 3 times so maybe? grappled a few takedowns yea but I don't give alot to takedowns when nothing happens but the guy popping right back up so I can't agree there. worked? again maybe but they both seemed to be working awhole lot. I score damage over everything else but whatever its not like I think Faber got robbed it was a very close fight. I'm not disappointed.
Silva outclassed him and had technique. Plus, didn't he use a muay thai clinch? I mean just going toe to toe with him throwing bombs. Too close to score or to give to one specific guy. UFC judging, Cruz. Fight entirety; Draw. Will rewatch. Close rounds.
:good To each his own I guess. If I ever I saw a draw this would have been it. Hopefully we get a rematch soon.
One good shot a rnd doesn't win the rnd for me. As for take down..that is the rule score it how YOU want but the ref has to follow the rule. DC continually landed punches and combos through out the fight and landed some realy hard shots himself. YF just has a good set of whiskers. I had 4 rnds for Cruz . 3 rnds to 2 for Cruz is acceptable but clear Cruz win in my opinion.
People are surprised to see Wanderlei get knocked are they? Silva has been shot for ages. When Mirko brutally ko'ed him that was the start and that was a long time ago. The guy needs to quit fighting!!!
