I thought it was an enthralling fight.

Not dramatic of course (which I thought it would be considering both guys chins and punch power) but always interesting. I was watching with a few casual fans, and they enjoyed it too.

Wouldn't mind seeing a rematch if Haye holds off his retirement and fights a few other top 10 contenders.

I believe what you write here, but then again you don't come across as a generally miserable person like most of the posters that are on here whining day after day.
For me, the threat of a KO at any moment gave the fight the excitement that it lacked in action. Both guys were cagey and tactical, and both showed world class skill, Haye's constant flopping to the canvas was one aspect of the fight that disappointed me, but overall i thought it was a good event, and based on what i saw last night I think Haye can beat Vitali and work his way back into a rematch.

Yeah I enjoyed it a lot more that any Wlad fight for a long time.

That's not saying much, I know, but it was good to watch.

I thought it was ****ing ****. Two guys getting paid £15m and neither wanting to take the necessary risk in order to win impressively. Yawn.

I kind of agree with both of ya'll. I was worried the whole time Hoya COULD blast Floyd out with a big shot. Floyd never been at 154.

But last night was eye opening to the end, because I still don't know for sure that one good one from David (still would have to catch Wlad by surprise, not just blast him).....and bein' straight I always assumed if Wlad caught David clean it was done. David ate a bomb I never would have thought he could.:yep

I am a big fight junkie son.

Did anybody expect for David to only try that wild ass lookin' right hand and end up SOOOOOO out of balance and position that it almost didn't seem real.

that was a fookin' huge size disparity (I know in HW you can be from 201 to 1,000 and it's fairplay, but sayin').

I never would have thought though, after my admited amusement at some of David's hounding Wlad, showin' up in public and flat out trashin' on Wlad.....that he would show up and fall around worse lookin' than Andre Dirrell.

Haye did ring Wlads chimes once....teh scond time he hit him was not quite as hard.
But I hope that some haters can say...Wlad's chin is now quite china....and both times Wlad was hit he came back strong....so he does have a bit of guts.

haye was fast and dangerous....but I had Wlad up easy...not quite as far as a judge there but a couple of rounds were close.

I'd never seen Wlad miss so many punches and with all...jab, hook and right.

The thing now...is no one has to fight Haye unless Haye dipps into his own pocket for a spare million to add on top of the purse.

In a way yes. The pub I watched it in was ****in buzzing for about 2 hours before the fight. From about round 9 on the writing was well and truely on the wall for haye and most lost interest. I was disgusted to be honest because I genuinely thought Haye was going to knock wlad the **** out.

I was a good fight but it didn't have that "punctuation mark" of the usual Klitschko late KO.

I was surprised at Haye's ability to take punches & his overall defense & upper body/head movement was better than I've ever seen from him.

It was an event for damn sure.

I hadn't been that excited to see the 2 fighters in the ring in a long time. There were some moments for sure.....but the electric before the first bell was awesome.
