    They were awful. I don't know why they insist on trashing fighters right in the middle of the fight. Roy Jones Jr. was the only guy trying to insert some objectivity.

    I just tweeted him asking if he'd reign in his jokes and biases today.

    He tweeted back, "maybe toe-morrow" :|

    The guy breaks news and is credible when reporting news,
    but he needs to revisit his job description.

    It starts with Merchant and Lampley allows it to feed into himself.
    Lamps has the ability to shut it down and there's been times he will
    correct Larry, but it was so over the top last night.
    If Kellerman was on the broadcast, it would not have devolved into such vitriol.

    What exactly were they supposed to do? Give props to Haye for being ridiculously boring and flopping like Cristiano Ronaldo?

    i totally agree with u guys. the guy is fat joke. anybody could do what he does. the guy should show some integrity. he is in a privileged position and should respect that. how many people would luv to be in his position? Dan luvs to dish it out, but, he cant take it back LOL

    No, but they were trashing him from the opening bell. They don't have lie to everyone, but they could attempt to add objectivity. Lampley and Merchant had no intention of doing so. Go watch Pacquiao/Clottey and see if they trashed Clottey as much as they did Haye. You'll see that they focused more on praising Pacquiao. Merchant is known for doing this. I've seen plenty of times also where he's trashed a fighter that is dominating a fight.

    Objectivity?

    RJJ was being bias left and right of Wlad. The guy called him Vitali several times.

    All RJJ was doing was trashing Wlad about his chin and stamina problems.

    After the fight he was pleaing with the American public to have someone beat Wladimir.

    Were they lying when they said Haye's mouth got him the fight? Lampley and Merchant would've had no problem if Haye actually went there to fight. I assume you've seen all the **** Haye talked about how it was going to be such an awesome fight and that he'd ko Wlad. While Clottey and Haye both turned it disgraceful performances, Clottey hadn't talk massive amounts of **** and also wasn't flopping to the canvas every 30 seconds. Lampley and Merchant like exciting fighters, not sure of the big revelation there.
