Amir Khan vs Sky TV (Who will crawl back to who first???)

When Khan fights Mayweather they will invite him back, other then that Khan should keep his nose clean and sack his 'team' of spongers.

 

Yep unless he fights PBF i doubt they will bring him back. They have taken hardline stance towards him.

 

Khan should target the winner of Floyd - Ortiz(spoiler alert: it'll be Floyd) if he gets past Judah. **** Bradley off imo. He had his chance and didn't want it, move past him. Sky would be interested in that.

 

It looks like Khan might've won a moral victory this saturday. But I don't think Sky care enough to promote him.

 

He doesn't need Sky. I got a lovely answer phone message from Amir this afternoon offering to take me on holiday to Vegas as a thank you for my support on Primetime! I'm really excited. Hopefully he'll text me some pictures of his **** first. I don't know if i have the heart to tell him i've only ever bought Froch fights on Primetime...

 

Sky aint crawling back to Khan. Froch is there main guy now. Just say Khan was gonna fight mayweather do we really think Golden Boy or PBF would want it to be on little old primetime? Not a chance!!

 

i dont know, i see froch getting beat by ward, but i dont think thats the end of him, but as of right now the only person who is worth ppv and who has a decent following is Khan

If I were SKY I would not turn my back completely on Khan. As long as his chin holds up and maybe even improves as he puts on the weight; he has a potentially HOF career ahead of him and also there is a map to him becoming one of the biggest names in the sport.

Judah-Bradley-Brook-Ortiz/Mayweather winner in UK-Alvarez is not completely out of the question (bare with me), with maybe a couple in between and if he won enough of them he would be huge globally.

if he loses on the 23rd then he will be left hanging..he is tied with goldenboy who are finding it hard to sell him to the US.

Tbf, in that instance I feel Khan and his team should have accepted the SS3 slot. Part of what sells a PPV is that it is on a PPV-channel, if that makes sense, and SKY need to protect their product to a certain extent. It could have worked perfectly with people switching over after El Classico and probably you could argue Khan would have made his money back down the line with the extra exposure he would have received.

Sky made the mistake of guaranteeing Khan the PPV slot months in advance with no idea what they were gonna have to sell. In that sense, they backed him too much after the Maidana fight.
