I had it 2-2 after 4 rounds. I eventually scored it 8-3-1 for Wlad....that should tell you how the fight went after that.
All aboard the "Haye was robbed" EXPRESS ! "The fight was close" :nut Free trip for ******s ! CHOOO CHOOOO ! :happy
remember when wlad hit haye with that huge right hand in round 5 since then he started to dominate haye, even if im very generous to david haye giving him 3 early rounds and rounds 7 and 12 wlad still wins the fight 114-112, I had wlad winning 116-111 by the way, very clear win.
Watch it again [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_LYXtiusI8[/ame] Forward to these times: 0:54 1:30 1:40 1:44 1:51 2:39 2:53 After that I stopped jotting down the times because I know it wasn't only me who saw these punches landed.
IT was a close fight I had it lvl going into 12. You guys clearly didnt see all the matrix **** haye pulled with his speed.atsch Gaye boy lost every rd..:bbb
Did you watch the fight on a small screen? Most of Haye shots were clearly blocked by Wlad's arms. Wlad threw more punches and landed more punches in just about every round. Wild swinging from Haye that does not connect should nto be scored for much outside of aggression, which Haye lacked in general. Wlad was up 3-2 in the first 5 rounds, then pretty much swept the cards until round 11. Round 12 had some action.
I gave Haye the 3rd round and another round where Wlad got a point taken off him. I wouldn't complain if somebody thought Wlad won every round.
I watched it without commentary and it does make a difference....I had it even after 7 rds,but then Vlad pulled away winning every rd including a 10-8 due to the ref but with Haye winning the 12th....it was'nt a beat down and it was'nt that close either......116-112,maybe you could stretch it to a 117-111 with the home advantage.
not sure what fight you watched, Haye won maybe 2 rounds. not to say Wlad clearly dominated and destroyed Haye in the other rounds, he was just busier and controled the ring more/better than Haye. all in all it was a boring, tactical, risk free fight, something that i feared might happen. Wlad won, but just by doing more, that's it. but that's his style, he's fought that way since hooking up with Steward. i will admit Wlad looked much more fluid in this fight than previously, but he was still reluctant to go for the KO. lets hope Vitali gets it next...
I was drunk and had the same impression but when I sobered up and looked again I saw that I didn't count wlads shot's. He did land. even though haye body movement make it seemed that he slipped he still was hit consistently.
It was a lot closer than people are saying..people are just blinded by hatred for Haye after he talked and the biased HBO commentary. He clearly lost but still, it's not like he pulled an Ibragimov and never took risks or threw a meaningful shot.
I gave Haye 3 rounds. He did make Wlad miss alot AT TIMES, he also hurt Wlad twice. Apart from that, he was outworked, outclassed and outsmarted. He wasn't aggressive enough, end of. I actually believed he could do it before and was rooting for him. Now I feel dissapointed and let down, wish he wouldnt go on about his toe so much.
