As things stand two of his mandatories will likely be Chagaev and Chambers, will he really be able to sell both of those fights easily back to back after already crushing both not long ago? He will probably have to fight every 3 months as it is with all of those mandatories. Does anybody know when the date for those mandatories are and who they are likely to be against?
he'll get made super champion or some bollocks like that he'll only need 2 defend like once every 18 months
Wlad should NOT fight Hepatitis Chagaev And featherfisted Chambers again. Wlad DESTROYED them both recently And they are no-hoper mismatches VS Wlad.
He is WBA Super champ. so he only needs to defend it once in 2 years against a regular champ. There is a word Chagaev vs Povetkin for regular title. I hate how his Super WBA belt looks like. This content is protected
He is WBO and WBA Super champion where he only has a mandatory every 18 months for those. IBO doesn't have a mand fight neither does Ring. The IBF is the only one where he will have to consistently fight a mandatory.
I disagree...... The IBF seems to be the fairest sanctioning body irt allowing their champions to fight the others mands. If I'm Wlad, I'm constantly looking over my shoulder at what the WBA is trying to shove down my throat since this is the body most in league with DK promotions.
He already beat Haye and Chagaev who I expect will fight Povetkin the Fall for the "regular" WBA title. Whoever wins that is merely a contender. The ABC orgs know Klitschko's = $$$$$ so they are not going to strip him. The majority of the time they strip fighters it is because they are not a draw. All the ABC's care about is money nothing else.
he is the wbo/wba super champ and i red that the ibf will elevate him to super champ also. that means he has to fight a mandatory every 18 months. and wba/wbo/ibf will try to make combined mandatorys, like the same mandatory for the wba and wbo
why cant the no 1 contenders become no 1 contender in 2 or more orgs before getting a shot ? too much common sense there I suppose
I'm fairly sure the WBA and IBF will allow Wlad to fight inside their top 5 as a mandatory defense. I personally want to see him against Valuev first, then perhaps TUA, then Potvetkin if he's ready. After that, a rematch with either Haye, Chag or Chambers
