Wlad's chances here are pretty limited IMO. Tyson would be all wrong I think. Being so small almost nullifies the height advantage that Wlad has. Tyson would bob and weave through that jab IMO and Wlad cannot fight going backward, Tyson's come forward agression would be a nightmare for Wlad. Wlad has a chance against Holyfield, but Evander had a great inside game, something which I think is so important against Wlad. The question is whether he would be able to avoid eating too much leather to win a decision. I pick Holy by decision. Lewis is an easy pick over Wlad for me. He's just a better version IMO. However, this would be an sbsolute stinker. Both timidly waiting for the perfect oppurtunity to throw the right-hand. I just don't see how Wlad wins this. I feel bad because I'm not a Wlad hater at all, and maybe the reason I see these guys beating him is because he hasn't had to exhibit any real versatility in the last 5 years because he's been winning so easily. I can only call it as I think though!!
He was also a fighter who is always on his toes moving his head ..**** Haye's movement somewhat flustered Wlad at times ..The counter punching would be Holy's edge ..And even if Wlad tried to hold Holy was no push over the man is strong ..I been reading some posts they got Wlad ko ing Holy in 7 ? Im like these people must only know of him from the Ruiz fights ..
Wait a minute. Nobody stops Holyfield from getting inside the action. NOBODY. The question is, could Wlad take what Holyfield brings inside to him. I just don't think Holyfield would hold him up like he did Foreman, Lewis and Bowe, at times. I think Wlad would see more of the Buster Douglas treatment.. you know, "I'm not letting you grab me. The rule is, every time you try to grab onto the neck, you're taking a deep tissue body shot."
Whilst we're at it early-mid 90's Bowe would beat Wlad as well. Wlad's a quality fighter, but the guys mentioned are all simply a level above. :yep
I think from all that you listed, Lewis would have the best chance, all of them would have a competitive fight
Both Bowe and Lewis could fight on the inside, Wlad has zero inside game. He does not mix his punches up at all, he has three punches, jab, straight right and very rarely a left hook. I think Lewis and Tyson overwhelm Wlad early and Holy gets a late tko. I like Wlad, he is a great fighter against certain styles, but he is not a good bet h2h against atg's.
You seem to be making all of your analysis based off of Haye comparisons. Have you actually seen any of these fighters in their primes?
