    Exactly!

Let me remind you: He lost a wide UD and he lost the belt.

That is what counts the most for me.

No he was much better. Look at the scorecards if you can't see.

I was surprised how bad both men were, I was expecting a KO, 1 way or the other. ZERO inside game from either man, Wlad being 6'6 or so didn't need to BUT Haye was in position to work and did NOTHING. Wlad never timed Haye or made him pay for the wild Hayemakers thrown, both were timid.

As for those saying Haye took Wlad's shot, that simply isn't true Wlad didn't land anything big in there, he landed jabs and arm shots but he didn't open up on Haye. What I got from this fight is despite Haye's many flaws, just being a real athlete and showing up in decent shape allowed him to give Wlad his toughest fight in years. As for Wlad he is a pretty good fighter but I don't think he is as good as Tyson, Lewis or Holyfield.

If Wlad was so terribly hurt he wouldn't have landed 4-5 powershots coming right out of that clinch. That one right hand from Haye woke up Wlad and he punished Haye for it.

There was a right that landed right on Wlad's nose in the 3rd I believe that I think stunned him more than this one in the 12th.

I thought he was very impressive defensively, but came up short with his offense.

He looked sharp as hell, very quick (as did Wlad), and was landing some good shots early. The most frustrating thing about his low-output performance was that when he did put forth effort, it did indeed look like he was capable of being very competitive. Shame he didn't have it in him to push through and go all out for the victory.

Respect to you Mordechai. The media and a lot of posters here have taken a huge dump on Haye cause of the promises and trash talk. Roy Jones was the closest to understanding this fight. There will be a rematch or Vitali fight. Strangely I would love to see Haye v B-Hop but Haye would have far too much power

i've said for a long time haye needs a skill/technique coach who can sharpen up his punches such as roach or shields, roach even openly said he wants to train haye.

but it wont happen, haye and booth are very close friends.

If that was true wouldn't Haye be laid out on the canvas. He moves his head at the last moment so it looks like he is getting hit. Its something he knows will count against him but can't change cause he fights on reflexes. FFS he was standing square on with Wlad, hands down taunting him.
I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of fans of lower weight classes who don't normally watch the heavyweights expecting a KO

Haye looked bad against Wlad, but everyone looks bad against Wlad. Plus, Wlad looked bad himself. Haye did better than I thought he would, connected with more powershots, and didn't end up KTFO. He did better than any Wlad opponent since the first fight with Peter.
