I wouldn't be totally surprised if we see him in a few winnable fights then meeting in a possibly undeservedly earned fight with Cleverly for a relatively decent purse stocked up by the Welsh interest.

That's if he's not beyond totally hopeless at the weight that is.

I see they are already talking about Swansea's stadium as a possible venue.

I love how people think he's not going to be sparked the **** out as usual in 2 fights or less.

Put him in with a really poor (but durable) fighter initially, because people need to learn from the RJJ/Byrd scenario. After that if Macca comes through unscathed then someone like McIntosh might be okay.

I think Enzo could have a few fights at light heavy and come through unscathed, but let's be honest they would need to be at a fairly moderate level.

Enzo really only fights one way these days, pushing opponents onto the ropes and loading up with every shot. This way of fighting is easy to deal with at the kind of level Enzo wants to fight at. It doesn't matter whether he fights with moobs or not, he'll get badly beaten again, sooner probably rather than later...

He should get a job as some kind of assistant to Gary Lockett or something.

he's gonna look well frail at 6'4 and 175lbs. It'll probably go the same way as Chris Byrd and he's gonna get banjoed even worse than at cruiser.

Can anyone seriously see this going well for Macca?

Can see him getting knocked out by Tony Bellew in a 'big ******' fight. It would market Bellew as a legitimate challenger to Cleverly.

Meh Enzo please just hang them up! You've got a family to worry about.

Would love to see an Enzo v Clev fight after a tuneup.

I still have faith that Enzo has a couple of big wins in him. It's strange, he used to walk around lighter than Calzaghe when they used to train together so it will be interesting to see how effective he could be at 175.

I keep hearing this, but does anybody know if this actually true? If it is, then why didn't he fight at a lower weight before?

It doesn't seem to make sense that a fighter that light would bulk up in order to fight bigger men that knock him out. It's not like he bulked up with lean muscle either, he's never looked exactly ripped.

I think Enzo's going to tell him to punch not to hurt as he often used to do with Joe. Try and score rather than throw every punch with real bad intention.

Enzo seems to think he knows what's wrong anyway:

"I needed to let him understand where his problems were. Hopefully he understands where I'm coming from and he did," said Calzaghe.

"We spoke about the fact that he should go down to light-heavy which will accommodate him very well.

"Enzo is a class actÂ… so I want to show that.

"I believe in him. He believes in me. We have been successful together that is the best part of it. We have been unsuccessful once we parted.

"I know for a fact that a guy who won five world title fights in succession is not a dud."

Not sure the reasoning behind him never fighting at 175 before but it's no secret down this way that he walked around lighter than Calzaghe. One of my best mates knows him personally and he's confirmed it to me more than once. I've met him a few times and I've always been surprised by his size and that he looked quite small for a cruiser.
