To me it isn't even a debate. Arreola lost every second of every round and quit. Haye lasted the distance landed a few good shots he just didn't throw enough. Haye put on a better performance.

Not training for the fight and showing up to only block shots with your face is not going to be the better performance the idea is to hit and not get hit, Haye put up the better performance in terms of boxing, Arreola displayed true grit, that cant be taught in a gym.
However true grit doesnt always win fights, usally its the skills....
Haye didnt block shots with his face all night.....

I liked Haye's effort a lot more to be honest. He had a much more intelligent approach and is a better fighter and athlete. I felt both guys gave it their all but Haye had a better fight IMO.

That being said, the 2 performances aren't comparable because they fought 2 different fighters with 2 very different styles.

Arreola EASILY. Arreola was trying all night, he took all the risks he could and landed some serious shots.

At-least Chris did his attempt at fighting in the ring, while Haye's fight was in front of the cameras. Not getting hit while running away for 12 rounds is way worse that getting your face bashed in. Both Chris and David were outclassed, Chris just tried to win, Haye did not.

I honestly don't understand how anyone could vote for Haye. At least CA tried with all his heart. Not so with Haye.
