Torres, Corley, Mosley, Judah I've seen.

Are there any other ones? I think his best fights are the ones that weren't one-sided, like the ones above. I saw some of the Malinaggi fight and he landed some good clean punches but I don't remember him hurting Cotto.

I didn't think he was visibly hurt vs. Judah or Mosley.

He wasnt down or anything, and maybe its hard to tell that he was more than just wobbled on TV. But people that were THERE have said that when fighting Judah, those two really hard (and pefectly executed!) counter uppercuts hurt Cotto. Wobbled his legs a bit. Though he wasn't about to be knocked out as Cotto haters would have you believe.

In the fight with Shane, Shane had him pretty hurt at the end of maybe round 9? I don't remember but it was a later round. However Shane didnt seem to notice, or maybe thought he was playing possum because after he caught him even though Cotto stopped coming forward looked hurt to the people watching, Shane didn't try to finish him. Even after the round Jack can be heard saying to Shane, "You had him hurt, you can't let him get away when you have him hurt!" though thats just paraphrasing,, not an exact quote by ANY means!

I don't think its any coincidence that Cotto is wobbled by Shane (who is coming on and getting stronger as the fight goes, and is hitting Cotto cleanly wth a BIG right hook repeatedly!), and then the next round and for the rest of the fight changes his fight plan to getting up on his toes and staying away from Shane and trying to counter. Though 'trying' isn't entirely accurate because Cotto did a surprisingly good job of it I think! :bbb

And btw no, Paulie definitely never had Cotto in trouble. In fact, even though he was hitting him cleanly, he didnt even get Cotto to stop coming forward until something like halfway through the fight! When you hit a guy with your best shots and he just keeps walking you down I'd imagine it can be devastating. But Paulie kept on trying. He wasn't only physically beaten, but it was a mental strain as well. BRAVE GUY!

I can't even recall a situation where that happened. :huh

I know I was drinking and smoking, but I wasn't that f*cked up when the fight happened. At least, I don't think I was.:D

I'll check back later...maybe someone say what part that happened.

Just checked out round9 of Mosely fight---definitive round for Shane who after 1min. caught him with 3 overhand rights & 2 lefthooks[ 1 was a peach] but IMO cotto took them well and landed some good punches of his own:smoke :smoke Still looking for the Judah fight but am afraid that I too might have been pissed when filing some of my tapes--

Torres and Corley had him hurt.

Judah and Mosely both had him stunned.

Cotto's has shown he can be hurt, but has TREMENDOUS recouperative powers. In both the fights he was hurt in, by the next few rounds after being hurt, he still looked like the stronger, fresher fighter. I think its his best asset.....even moreso than his body attack.

Victoriano Sosa stunned him in a rope a dope position..

Corley nearly knocked him out, Torres almost killed him, and zab scrambled his brain with an uppercut which is why he had to resort to dirty tactics.

Mosley almost took him out too if it wasn't for that ****in ref.

I remember that, I forget what round, 8th or 9th. Cotto looked stunned and the ref broke them up. I think Mosley could have scored a knock down atleast, we will never know.
