This would be a good move by Haye

like how Manny tried to shove it in Floyds face by beating common opponents faster

i wonder what the ppl would say if Haye stopped Chambers in say 6 rounds about half the time it took Wlad

i didnt wanna make a floyd vs pac man discussion i just think the rivalry iis similar and that haye needs to make a statement to re earn a chance at wlad

taking a common foe and beating him quicker is a way to make a statment

but chambers is going to fight thompson for a rematch at wlad

now i wonder if chambers would see haye as more money than thompson

or if he would take the risky thompson on in the hope to get a bigger pay day with wlad for the belts

This is an easy fight for Haye. Chambers puts his guard up in front of his face and moves his head back which will be right in the trajectory of Haye's left hooks or overhand/roundhouse right hands.

Chambers will be the one of the offensive here as Haye's feet are faster and his defense is on another level.

Chambers is not effective when he is on the offensive and Haye's speed, unpredictability, counterpunching ability, along with hard powerful shots will knock Chambers out earlier than expected.

Just because Haye lost to WLAD who is on a different level than the rest of the division doesn't mean that Chambers is suddenly a good fighter.

This would be a super exciting fight. Really IMHO both of these guys are Cruiserweights....and should have faced off long ago...but they went for glory in the HW division....

I believe both men are fast, have boxing skills (Eddie actually has better boxing skills/fundamentals imho) but I think Hayes speed combined with KO power combined with next level athletic ability might be too much for Eddie.

I am impressed with Eddie calling out Haye and hope this fight happens.

As far as strategic advice for Eddie? He needs to really work on counter punching Hayes lunging hayemakers. Use his speed to counter Haye and hope for a KO.

That's the only way I can see Eddie winning by KO.

If he want to win by points, he needs to train to throw 35-40 punches a round for 12 rounds and try to win by out punching Haye....which should not be hard to do. Haye does not throw a ton of punches. Now as far as Eddie actually landing those punches? Another story....

Tough fight for both men...but tougher fight for Eddie I think.

Chambers is underrated, but I like Haye in this one, better speed (in my opinion) and power......

Caught me pre-edit, ey? I wouldn't call myself a fan really, but I appreciate him as a good fighter at his best, who earned his shot more than most of these built-up heavyweight yahoos and did well to change his two worst points-too heavy, not enough activity. But, he was one of the few guys that was willing to take stock of his poorer qualities that were in his power to change, and changed them.

At least, did when he realized he was coming up on it and he'd given away the Povetkin fight (he had every ability to win it, imo, and let it go), and put on a stinker with Peter, where had he shown up in the same way for Wlad, he'd have been knocked out cold. ...Uh..earlier...than he was...I mean. But the change from the seasoned but unmotivated stinker Peter fight to the hungry, lighter weight Dimitrenko fight was dramatic. At worst, he's solid, at his best he's good. Nothing great but underrated, I feel. A nice contender. I feel that Adamek fight would be almost a definite controversial scoring, the way I'd think the styles match-up. Neither guy would be able to stop the other and they might split their time between an Adamek flurry landing, then one being blocked and flashily countered.

Chambers defence against Klitschko consisted of standing in front Wlad with his guard high up trying to lean out of the reach of punches, i think Haye's defense is a little sharper especially judging by saturdays fight.

Why do fighters become so underrated once they loose to Klitschko? I bet if this was before Klitschko Vs. Haye, David Haye is right below the Klitschko's and maybe Adamek. He is TOP 5 P4P current heayweight no matter what. :happy

Chambers by UD 8 out of 10 fights.

I can't see Haye taking this fight. Too much to lose, nothing to gain.

He's going to fight Vitali, then Adamek, then he's done.

At least that is what I would do if I were him.

Didn't vote since there's no option for draw.

IMO this would be a SD going either way or a draw most likely with Haye winning the early rounds then Eddie countering late to even up the cards.

Eddie has a solid chin and won't be KOd by a single Hayemaker and would know how to spin off the power connects by Haye and then counter effectively to win his own rounds.

Overall Haye would definitely be the aggressor, but Fast Eddie could win his own points because of his defensive wizardry and counterpunching.
