Maybe so because Chris comes to win and to fight. Didn't see Haye care much about either Saturday. Haye simply isn't that good at HW. I'd pick several HW's over him including the like Eddie Chambers and maybe even Sam Peter. Povetkin would be about the same fight as Wlad.

Well id say Haye could have handled himself better for sure, He fought Barrett-Valuev-Ruiz-Harrison-Klitschko when he could have tried for more and fought Chagaev-Valuev-Johnson-Chambers then Klitschko and then Vitali if he wanted and have kept to his retirement plan with a good legacy but he didnt have the tools or the guts to back up all the talk

i hate to ee what you think of adamek when he gets anally thrusted in 3 rounds by the 2nd best heavyweight in the world.

 

It might be possible too that Wlad Really did want Haye to be #50, so much so that he'd be down for a re-try.

Haye could certainly improve too.

Wlad did boxing a huge favor last Saturday night. I was actually dreading some weird/flukish crap happening and that guy actually taking Wlad's belt. He would have been insufferable in victory, acting like an ass of colossal proportions.

Amazing how many fans and scribes of boxing were actually hoping for this circus to occur. I am so freakin releaved and I will never have the slightest doubt about Wlad's chances ever again.

 

You know, at this point in Wlad's career, it's really not about another huge payday. He's going to make plenty of money no matter who he fights, and more importantly, he has enough already. He doesn't need a record payday because he's managed his money well and is set for life. Beating Haye again is worse for his legacy and resume than beating someone like Povetkin or any other top 10 fighter he hasn't beaten yet.
