Wlads next fight is aggainst Povetkin?

Povetkin might as well take the shot while he's still fairly young. He'll get a great payday but more than likely lose by KO.

 

Povetkin's an okay fighter. It's perhaps the best (realistic) heavyweight fight that can be made with Wladimir at the moment.

 

Not gonna happen. Povetkin's team is buying him the wba regular strap and gonna call him world champ while he ducks Klitschkos.

 

Really. How can there be a regular champion and a super champion? In what world does that make any sense?

 

Wlad should face Arreola in NYC, then the Chisora-Fury winner. That'll give Povetkin a solid year to beat Chagaev, perhaps get another fight in to prepare himself, and get some much-needed career momentum back. Then the Wlad fight not only makes sense from a competition standpoint, but could generate some interest, too. Right now it's tough for any enthusiasm for the fight to build because of Sasha's lousy recent competition and inactivity.

 

It allows the WBA to have more sanctioning fees. It's ridiculous.

 

I WBA's world it's reality. And they do not care if it makes sense or not.

So ye, be prepared to greet the heavyweight champion of the world Alex "Tzar" Povetkin soon, speaking how he rightfully earned this well-deserved title (Damon Reed, Oruh, Firtha, Sikes, Nolan are top level obviously :tired ) and how Klitchko ducking him (any self aware boxing fan knows it's Wlad ran away 2 times atsch) and how he deserves no less then 50% purse split.

It's a separate belt for all those who either can't beat a Klitschko, or are too afraid to fight one of them.

 

Tyson says boxers need all the paper belts to generate money/interest in fights that aren't really world championships.

Anyway the WBC and WBO also have all sorts of minor belts. The WBA regular title seems to be the most prestigious paper title so it isn't necessarily worth nothing. But Wlad should have already been WBA "super" champ since defeating Chagaev.

 

I think WBA has up to 4 world champions per weight class. With each paying them sanctioning fees.

I think the right thing to do right now would be for Wlad to take the belt publicly, give a speech about the crooks in WBA and toss the belt out in the garbage, in front of the press.

 

It looks like it's going to be Arreola. Hbo boss said that they would buy it. Wlad wants a fight in America. A Ukranian site said today Wlad would make an anouncement for his next fight in a few weeks. Hope that's true. That would be great!

Wlad has dealt with the guy who many really thought could beat him. Now Wlad just needs to concentrate on fighting a couple of times a year. It's a great time to be a Wlad fan!!!!!
