I don't find a thread about this. May be I'm overllooking it.

The fight will take place in the USA.

There are two of them. Both 30+ replies if I am correct.

He's lucky to be fighting a washed up old man.

A prime Norwood would have done some things to him.

Now think of what Gamboa would do when he hits his own prime..

Gamboa is phenomenal but he has a bad habit of fighting with his hands down and relying too much on his natural talents/reflex. Now him fighting non threatening opponents might have something to do with this but i get a feeling that he might be exposed at the higher level.

Gamboa got hit too much in his last fight. He'll have to keep at least his right hand up more often (if he can use the left shoulder, otherwise the left hand should be up as well), and not square up as much. I like him though, but he has some work to do before facing elite competition.

He does need keep his hands up but the lad is a brilliant talent, cant wait till he climbs up the ranks get some more experience and start fighting the elite in an already solid division.

If Norwood has pulled out shame on him. It's very hard to find a decent opponent just a few days after the holidays against a guy who GUARANTEES that he will knock you out. With that said Gilberto Luque is the wakest opponent Gamboa has ever faced.

Norwood ALWAYS does this ****.. I said he would probably pull out when this fight got made. That sucks.. I was hoping to see Gamboa take him out very early in impressive fashion. Does anyone think Showtime will show clips of this fight?

And you blame this on Gamboa how? Not like he had a ton of choices this close in to the fight. BTW, Gamboa has not fought a single fighter with a losing or even record. Only DLH never fought a fighter with a losing record as far as I know.
