Lewis win over Vitali is better than anything Vlad will ever do. Its not even close to see who's reign was better!!

You are spouting gay innuendo and you feel sorry for him? No offence but aren't the British supposed to get irony? :rofl

Not so sure really. Wladimir is technically the better fighter, and his confidence is sky high at the moment. You can see it in the way he controls the ring and dominates his opponents, stance, footwork etc.

Namely Corrie Sanders who wouldv'e probably been able to clean out the division if he halfway cared about the sport.

Prime Wladimir, might just have the edge. But Vitali is a dangerous fighter so it's hard to say!

    regards!

It is a win and he deserves credit for it. But to be fair it was to some extent fortunate. it was a cut stoppage, (lucky swiping shot with the edge of the glove) and Vitali had him tired and hanging on and was ahead on all scorecards!

    regards

A lucky swiping shot with the edge of the glove can't produce a hole I can stick my finger through plus two more bad cuts in a fighter's face.

It was clearly a grazing punch. It ripped his skin open as it gripped and ripped past his face. The other cuts were nothing, it was that cut that stopped the fight. If you don't think it was a grazing punch, you couldn't have watched the fight.

    Interesting my arse.

The whole ****ing reason Lewis fought Rahman not Sanders, was Rahman ****ing Knocked Sanders out.

Nothing to do with ducking him. Sanders beats Rahman, different story.

I don't know how the Wald fan club portray Sanders as a guy that has a punch quicker than lightning that can punch holes in a Panzer tank, when he couldn't beat Rahman - who is derided for having a shitty chin himself - when basically at his best.

and any argument that 90's fighters were no good that are attempted to be proven by "Iggy is better than Briggs, look, he beat him in 2007" is farcical.

That's the best part of 10 years after he was any good.

the very fact that guys that we OK in the 90's (maskaev, rahman himself, Briggs etc), actually came back and held belts in their mid to late 30's/40's in this era proves the difference.

Guys that couldn't go it in their prime, now could when past their best.

Let me get this one in for you. "but what about Foreman, he held a belt in the 90's".

Yeah. But he was George ****ing Foreman. And he was very well matched, and beat a chinny former light heavyweight.

Oleg Maskaev is not George Foreman.
