Castillo was a far better fighter than Ortiz is. If Ortiz is going to win, it's going to be because of some big knockout punches that he finds a hole for, not because he put on smart pressure and attacked the body intelligently.

The problem is I don't think Ortiz can set that punch up... I think he will try and I hope he has some success; but Floyd knows how to control the ring and I don't think Ortiz has a good enough offense to offset that.

Floyd never fought on reflexes. He fights on defense, timing and ring IQ. Judah, Hatton, DLH, all had better reflexes.

Nope, his offense is pretty basic and robotic. It's not real free flowing and fluid. I agree. Mayweather is going to make him look really bad.

Mayweather's defensive reflexes are all better than Judah, Hatton, and the De La Hoya that he fought. He's not just some Winky Wright high guard defender. His defensive style, slipping/ducking, and hopping out of range/controlling distance requires amazing defensive reflexes and anticipation - of which Judah, Hatton, and DLH aren't blessed with to the same extent. Judah has more SPEED...that's it.

I'm glad you went with Castillo, cause that's what I was thinking as well. I'm big on Ortiz right now, but Castillo has the time put in, fight, after fight, pretty much always consistently a problem for any fighter in his prime, up till the end.

Castillo was badass, he's still fighting though isn't he, or has he officially hung em up (since Paez Jr)?

Can Ortiz lose two decisions? I doubt Floyd is giving him a rematch.

    Ortiz is gonna KO Mayweather...

To strong speed, young, hungry, mentally at 200% because of all the ridicule... good boxing skills, can bang and box, LOTTA power! An Old Mosely caught Mayweather... you bet your ass Ortiz is gonna catch mayweather specially if he brawls like he said he would.... and Ortiz has that one punch power...

you know the sickest serial killers were humiliated, ridiculed at a young age , Berto was a good example of what is to come from a still developing Ortiz... be afraid Jr.

    :D

Not gonna happen Bro.Mayweather has only been down once and thats because he hurt his hand. Yes Mosley had him hurt but Mayweather didnt even touch the canvas and that was a great right hook from Mosley.

Should be a great fight though, I'm happy Mayweather picked Ortiz

Mayweather had a torn rotator cuff and it was his first fight at 135 with a guy outweighing him by 10lbs.

Oh yeah he was 24 years old.

Boy whens this Castillo blueprint nonsense gonna end?
