Styles make fight. Going on your logic though Hatton beat Castillo so he should have given Floyd massive problems right, since Castillo and Floyd were at war with each other right?

In my eyes Hatton had his highpoint when he caught a fading Tszyu. Ever since then he has been declining. His fights have regressed into him lunging to punch and then holding. He did this in every fight I've seen from him since the Tszyu fight, baring the Maussa fight.

Hatton is the Ring champ you are right, but again, he has not beaten any of the top men in his division and with his poor showing against Urango, there is no way I can honestly say he is the class of the Jr. WW division. Thats like saying Casamayor is still the class of the LW division. He may have been but not anymore.

I am pretty sure that the majority of this site, American's included picked Hatton to win that fight. Castillo looked HORRIBLE coming into that fight, and I think he lost the previous fight.

Having lived in the UK, USA and South America I have to say.... even though it's nothing to be proud about, you're 100% wrong.

    :-(

Certainly, and honestly, that was a case of people looking at the name, not the fighter and style. KT obliterated boxers (though not high level ones). Guys like Hatton will always give him trouble, and KT was certainly not the same as he was. Still a good win for Hatton mind you, but I think people picked KT cuz they knew him.

The pure stupidity of this thread, along with the little kids dressed as wiggers in their avatars, has convinced me to pretty much never visit the once respected general forum again. You see some children in here, and thats what they are, pitch in with one liners thinking they are smart without any concise argument for there point. At least some of the ignorant people in this thread are trying to back up what they are saying, albeit failing. Sad times in the general forum indeed.:yep :hi:

Ok I agree with but, but Lewis the boxer is a product of Canadian boxing, he is not a product of British boxing. He learned his art in Waterloo Boxing Academy in Canada. Did he have any British trainers or did even train in UK?

That's why he chose to represent Canada at the Olympics, but it makes no difference to his nationality.

His PRO-boxing career began in the UK.

exactly , most americans dont realise that its only ulster a.k.a northern ireland
and its 6 counties are part of the u.k,thats what the ira have been fighting for all these years, they want ireland including the north removed from the control of the uk government and be 1 independant country.

    including armagh,antrim,londonderry,down,tyrome,fermanagh.

This is another post by an ignorant person who hasn't bothered to read the whole thread (minus the childish squabbles).

This is said to you by a fellow Engilshman.

Fair enough but just remember not all Americans are that way as illustrated early on in this thread.

Note the early remark about not making this a poilitcal debate.
