Rios is a little animal and it's gonna take someone who's very disciplined to get the better of him at that weight. I don't know how well he makes weight but he's gonna need to watch his diet because 140 will be his ceiling. Fighters who rely on breaking their opponents will historically don't weight up well, because they lose their advantages.

What i like about Rios is that he understands how to put mental pressure on his opponent. He's very urgent and makes you work every second, even if he's not punching.

In that fight Acosta gave him some real problems, but Rios stayed on point and wouldn't give up any real esate to use a Teddy Atlas term, lol. Acosta's problem was he was fighting in big circles and burning himself out quicker, he was doing Rios' work for him, by going around in big circles he was giving too much ground.

Rios is always fun to watch and has a nice 'showcase' fight against Antillon, which should be a barnburner while it lasts.

Hopkins Calzaghe. Still maintain Hopkins won that. It really is a miracle how Enzo got so far and Joe with that style. He must have decent pop that way otherwise he would get walked down.

Lara Molina. Williams outworks Lara easily. Hes very relaxed like Dawson in the ring. Williams is a very busy elite fighter and Lara doesn't look like he has improved at pro level. I had Molina by 2.

Terry Norris stepping away from attacks to prolong the punishment he was dishing out on Paul Vaden. Vaden and Norris grew up in the same neighourhood, had a feud and Vaden was f*cking Terry's girl at the time of this fight.

I love Terry Norris as a fighter. One of the best finishers ever if I may say so.

He called out as many smaller men as he actually fought. It would've been nice to see him move up to middle to take on the best there, but I don't think he trusted his whiskers after Jackson got to him.

As is the case with the greats of that golden era there's no footage of the original Hawks best fights. The Ray Robinson fights, Epics with the great Ike Williams, Beau Jack etc.

There's minor footage of his fights with Johhny Bratton, Carmen Basilio, Gil Turner (great fight) and his nemesis Billy Graham, which don't do the Hawk justice.

    He was a special fighter.

Ive found some footage on youtube of his fights with Chuck Davey, Waltier Cartier and Basilio but no full fights. The fight with Robinson was one that I wanted to see most, but theres none at all on it. Pity:-(
