    BEST CHIN EVER AT HEAVY.
HE WENT DOWN A COUPLE OF TIMES BUT ALWAYS GOT BACK UP.FOUGHT FOR 10 ROUNDS WITH A BROKEN JAW AGAINST NORTON,GOT UP OFF A MONSTER HOOK FROM FRAZIER THAT BROKE HIS JAW AFTER 13 ROUNDS OF HELL,WENT IN THERE WITH 3 OF THE BIGGEST PUNCHERS IN HISTORY AND WAS NEVER KNOCKED OUT,EVEN TOOK 10 ROUNDS OF TOTAL PUNISHMENT VS HOLMES AND WAS STILL ON HIS FEET.
THERE WAS NEVER A BETTER CHIN IMO:deal

Chuvalo, who was never dropped, had a better chin but Ali indeed has one of history's all-time epic mandibles. An iron-chinned warrior if there ever was one.

No, but it was definitely iron cast.

The punches Shavers, Norton and Frazier bombed in on him...... :-(

Larry Holmes deserves credit, the punch he came up from after Shavers one-bombed him, WOW. Larry was out cold for about 2-3 seconds before he woke up and got up, like a true warrior.

Yeah, where Ali beat guys taking their best shots, Chuvalo lost, never went down, and had the greater chin. Yeah that sound about wrong. By the way...Margaritos chin is better than Ali's and Haglers lmao.

That shot he took from Frazier was awesome.

That said, heavyweights are a lot bigger now. I wonder how his chin would have stood up to the likes of Lewis?

Ali was a better fighter and therefore had more options when getting pounded than Chuvalo. It wasn't like Ali was any less rocked, it's just that he could do enough to keep the ref from stepping in. Chuvalo wasn't much more than a sitting target when he wasn't rocked, let alone when he was being bombed on. And if you're not taking the **** and you really think Margarito's chin is better, then I have to say that you're an idiot when it comes to examining mandibles.

I think Foreman hit a little harder than Lewis.

Ali is in the argument for the best chin of all-time at Heavy, but I'd lean towards Cobb or Chuvalo over him.

I'm actually more impressed with his ability to take body shots.

Ali's incredible chin has won him a couple of career defying fights, this man's chin is legendary but not the best ever.

What makes Chuvalos chin better than Ali's for the record. Just want to hear some opinions.

Very good list, I go McCall as the strongest and Tua as the weakest.
