Haye talked his way into 15-20 Mil, only to show up like a *****.

Haye won the pre-fight trash talk contest. In fact, he was so good at it that he fooled many into believing that this would actually be a contest. As soon as the bell went though it was just another routine defence for wlad. And that toe didn't seem to bother Haye that much when he was jumping up and down before the fight. His footwork during the fight was ok enough to allow him to move away from wlad's punches. It only seemed to magically turn into a problem when it came to him moving in. In retrospect Haye didn't fight badly considering the weight difference, but when you act as though you're the greatest thing since Muhammad Ali you inevitably end up with your pants down your ankles if you don't deliver.
