This. For every bad decision and boring heavyweight fight that happens its fights like last nights that will keep me a fan.

 

I feel sick to my stomach after hearing the judges' scores. There needs to be a godamn investigation on this, and soon! ****ing A, I am in such a bad mood right now, and probably will be for awhile.

 

As been said let's not have any yanks mention British / euro decisions

 

I wasn't even listening to the announcers, as I had my headphones on. I stopped watching around round 9 thinking "damn, Paul Williams is getting beat bad here". And then I come here, and see that he won. It seems like you have to A) Be an American or B) KTFO of someone to win here.

I was also supporting Paul, as that first fight with "Marvilla" was just great(even though I thought he lost that one). He's really looking bad after that knockout.

Terrible decision, and I feel bad for Paul's boxing future.

 

Yeah. The next time the yanks want to whine about a fight being held in Europe, I'll remind them of this fight.

Damn, haven't seen this fight yet but it doesn't sound good for paul.

When was his last legitimate victory now? Winky years ago was it?

I honestly thought paul would smoke lara but sounds like his trainer was right telling him to hang them up.

End of an era now, clottey, margo, williams, cintron, mosley they all seem finished now. Only a couple of years ago these guys were the top ww's in the world. Only cotto left standing from those days.

Where can williams go from here now? Should he rematch lara or did he look that bad he should hang them up?

From the sounds of things he'd lose to bundrage now as well.

 

That was ****ing shameful. It's at times like this that it's hard to defend this sport.

The judges should never be allowed to score a fight again - either they're corrupt or totally incompetent.

 

I just watched the fight. I've seen all the bad decisions over the years: Whitaker Chavez, Lewis Holyfield, Leonard Hearns II, you name it. This is worse than all of them. Speechless.

 

The referees are definitely ATG cheats/frauds/sellouts. But you can't overturn referees decisions in this case because it will cause a precedent that will questions any futur decisions. But what you can do is to discredit these 3 referees by making it viral on forums and youtube.

The good news is that Lara is getting good advertisements from this robbery.
As for Williams, don't blame the guy for defending his interests in front of cameras. He will show class and rematch Lara but he needs to sort out his defensive problems against southpaws.

 

A few corrupt and greedy boxing fux taking all the money and letting boxing and its history get blown away with the wind while UFC et al takes over.

PWill won't get caught with another lucky punch like he did in the rematch. He was tagging Sergioe at will and winning the fight until he was blindsided by a wild haymaker. It happens to the best of them; except Money of course. PWill wins a third fight if Sergioe has the balls to man up and quit facing Euro bums
