    Diamond Title is the equivalent of being Super champion as far as I know. It was made for the likes of Maravilla and Pacquiao, which is why I was unsure if they qualified or not.

    ok, the WBC explain the Diamond belt as follows

    Therefore, I wont treat the diamond belt as a world title and Martinez can be considered as a Contender B. Similiarly any fights he has where only the diamond belt is on the line will not get the bonus points awarded for world title fights.

    He was stripped of it for not doing the weigh in on the day of the fight. Think they have a rule you can't be so many pounds over the limit of the official weigh in.

    So, let me get this right. You can choose Floyd and Sergio for contender B, but not Andre Ward because he has a superficial 'super' next to his name? The fix is in, lol.

    or alternatively i could manually assess every boxer on a case by case basis.....




    ...nah **** that. you cant have Ward as a contender B.

    and anyway, picking floyd wouldnt get you many pts as he'll probably only fight once before the season finishes

    no, they dont count. for contender A you can pick anyone who has never fought for a world title or the interim version of a world title. it doesnt matter if they hold any minor alphabet title or regional one
