Great fight, i pick Jeffries all day he's got a lot of power - quigley is a top class fighter though and not going to be an easy test he's ko'd dodson who i think would be a better fight for jeffries, nice to see quigley has got plenty of notice for the fight to get into shape, big test for for jeffries he's stepping up to the plate for this
Really doubt Jeffries would get a KO here, even if it was at 175. Quigley has a great chin and Jeffries does not seem to have a great deal of punching power to mean. I think he stifles his work by getting in to close and this would be a problem in this fight with Quigley who is a smart pro on the inside. I could see this being a real test for Jeffries and it would not surprise me to see him slip up again. Saying that I feel it really is dependent on the condition that Tony Quigley comes in at. His style of fighting means that stamina levels are very important but I really respect him as a boxer and will certainly be supporting him
But then who will Groves fight in the meantime? I think Groves-Anderson 2 should be made in september and Jeffries vs the winner.
jaffa will walk this, not because i think hes a good fighter, 4-5 inches in height will be too much for quigley whos also been far to inactive, jeffries wont even make a euro contender judgeing by his first 9 fights, get hit far to flush far to often and at a higher level he will be made too pay! and im a jeffries and sunderland fan!
Good fan you are:smoke:smoke will be a good test ,if Quigley turns up:happy:happy seems a nice sort of lad pity he followers that **** football teamatschatschatsch
This is a very tough fight for Tony, fair play to him for taking the fight on, its a real junction in the road for him, he has to win to progress, if not there is not much else for him out there...:yep I would really love him to get behind those boxing skills, he has a lovely jab, just really needs to express himself a lot more...:good
Well i wouldn't go as far as putting my house on it pal, afterall Banbula nearly beat jeffries :rofl Jeffries may have too much power though, but if quigley roughs him up he could win.
Even way beyond his natural weight I expect Quigley to take this, Jeffries is... well... a bit rubbish, try another sport TJ where fortitude is less of a requirement.
Mate, you want a bet of any kind? If this fight goes ahead, I guarantee Tony wins it...:good unless it's a draw... You get my drift...?
I think a fight with someone high in the euro rankings to help him progress even further. I don't think Kenny has done enough since the last fight to warrant a return and Jeffries needs a good win to show he is ready to step up, so these two should fight to get the right to face Groves late in the year.
Good match up. Jeffries might get exposed here against someone who will work the inside well. Quigley might be out of his proper weight class, but Jeffries has not beaten anyone of note. Big test for him.
