    Marquez
    Mayweather (I'm an optimist)
    Bradley
    Canelo
    Rios?

It's hard to know who's going to emerge over the next year or two though. Maybe a dark horse like Linares will fight his way into contention.

    Mayweather
    Martinez
    Froch
    Hopkins
    Wladamir.

  5. If Floyd ends up not being next, I see a fight against Alvarez.

With Bradley just signed by Top Rank, all the fighters I listed are either already signed (Marquez) or are under Top Rank's banner (Bradley, Rios, Cotto, Jones).

All of the fighters have to keep winning, of course, and the Mayweather situation -- whatever it is -- has to be resolved.

Alvarez, Martinez and Ortiz are the wild cards. But barring one or more of them getting into the picture, I think we could have Pac's list of opponents for his final four fights.

If one of the four Top Rank guys is to be dropped out of the rotation for one of the wild cards, my guess is that the guy who would be dropped out would be Rios.

Just remember the 5 fighters (or 4, after Marquez) listed in the thread. You might be seeing them soon against Pacquiao.

I understand why you left Mayweather off the list but Khan and Ortiz have to be mentioned. Also, NOONE WANTS TO SEE BRADLEY FIGHT PACQUIAO!!! Granted, we endured Pacquiao-Clottey but Bradley just doesn't give fans what they want to see and a Pacman-Bradley matchup would, in my opinion, be a major disappointment. A Cotto rematch makes financial sense but how would Rios square off with Pacquiao...catch weight? Anyway, interesting thread keep up the good work.

    Thanks, friend! :good

I would be stunned if we do not now see Pacquiao-Bradley. My guess is it will be the next fight for Pacquiao after Marquez.

Not sure about Rios and the weight. Could be a catchweight or Rios might move up. Arum mentioned Rios as a possible Pac opponent just the other day.

    1) emmanuel fights Floyd and loses in the first half of 2012

    2) emmanuel fights someone who can easily make him look great like Tim Bradley to rebuild his credibility in the last half of 2012

    3) emmanuel faces Rios in the first half of 2013

    4) I don't look this far into the future

That would be alrgiht but nothing else matters if he doesnt fight the best fighter of his Era, which I think he will because he has to.

    his last fights will be

    1. JMM
    2. Mayweather
    3. Berto,Mike Jones, Ortiz. I putting this because I assume he loses to Mayweather and then Mayweather goes in fight Khan in the fall so he has to take an interim bout before he can get a rematch. He's fought plenty of Mayweathers left overs so I can see him fighting Ortiz, or Berto if he beats Ortiz in a rematch. Jones still out there.
    4. Mayweather 2- Loses again then finally retires. Retires one of the best that ever lived but just nothing else to do after fighting Mayweather twice.

    thats what I think
