helinuis couldnt even touch haye in sparring june 6 and 7 during 16 rds of sparriing......................SO AT THIS POINT HAYE
The same people saying Haye would win against helenius are the very same people that said Haye would beat Wlad. I feel a sense of deja vu here. Now I would definitely put all my VCash on Helenius! He sounds like a Titan anyways, how can a mortal Human cruiserweight possibly deal with a TITAN???
It astonishes me that after the Valuev, Harrison and Wlad fights some people are still trying to sell Haye as a skilled fighter of some kind. After the Barret fight, the man has been terrified of getting hit. As for the couple of idiots who are claiming that Helenius has some kind of inferior European style, A) this style has dominated the heavyweight diviison for years, and B) you are supppossed to make a tall fighter taller. Its silly to think that guys like Lewis, Klitscko and Helenius are going to be bobbing and weaving like Joe Frazier or something. Helenius will not Haye out in 2 rounds.
Helenius, but Haye would run like Hell! Same ones who are picking Haye over Helenius picked Haye to knock Vlad out. Vitali will fight Haye after he fights Adamek, he will knock Haye out..............watch the very same ones pick Haye to knock Vitali out............................Vitali will knock Haye out cold, he will seek him down like a heat seeking missile!!!!!!!
yep, just what i said! some of u veterans are rubbing off on me! wanna hit off my avatar as a thank-you? Tyson enjoyed it...
Today Haye schools him. In a couple of years if he continues to develop at the speed he is then he KO's Haye brutally.
Not true Mr Cali Connection. Most of the Haye nuts have stopped posting for the moment. Helenius is a great prospect but not anything more just yet. He needs another two years in my opinion and even though he has stepped up his opposition at a faster pace than most other contenders it would be a real shame if he was thrown to the wolves. Love him or hate him David Haye can fight and I can only think of a couple of people who would definately beat him.
Helenius complained after that Peter fight that he coudn`t get explosiveness to his punches until that knockout. It`s obvious that he packed a lot of muscle before that fight. His dad said in a Finnish forum that he is training a lot those muscle nerves.
Yes a guy with 14 or so fights at the time, lost a couple of rounds to a still top 10 contender......yep. Boy that shows how high Wlad and Vitilie has set the bar. A pretender/contender loses a couple of rounds to a true contender. The man has lots to learn, and has learned a lot since I saw him back when he had @ 8 fights and got on TV. Soon he will own a better jab. Wagner loves the jab. The old one two.
I think with haye u just never know. He's got such a glass cheeen that even if he fought Martinez, ko is not out of the question? Haye in the last 3-4 fights worked more on defence than offence. He was a way better offensive fighter in CW than at HW.
Why would Robbe be a memory soon? Do you think that Liakhovich will do the job? This far (and it´s only been 15 fights) Robbe has been the one putting guys to retirement. He busted Brewster and Levin (maybe even Peter) to a permanent vacation. He´s developing. In his first fights he wasn´t that good, but the great thing about him, is that he comes to the ring a bit better everytime. I expect to see the jab evolving and enchancement in the work-rate departement. What he has got is natural punching power and calmness in the ring. He doesn´t have to sit on his punches in order to gain power behind them. And he picks his spots with skill (see Levin, Brewster, Peter KD´s, he will find a way to hurt the opponent. In Levin fight he just decided to knock the guy out in round 2, because Levin was hurting him in the first round. In Peter fight it seemed that before the KO his trainer told him to start execute).
