I thought Molina deserved the win. What does that have to do with anything? :huh

I said they're the two guys right behind Cotto in my book. The fact that Molina deserved the win in their draw doesn't mean that any of the other guys deserve to be ahead of Lara. If he gets an official W in a rematch, then it will split them with him at #2 and Lara at #3. If he loses to Lara, vice versa.

Why is this such a difficult concept?

Right now I go wit Cotto, surprise surprise lol...BUT I dnt like him @ 54 and don't expect him to be the top dog for much longer...

Younger guys cuming up shuld make it clearer and hopefully we can get a unified champ in there

yes but sadly he didn't earn his way to the top. he got up to #1the by default when everyone else in the division moved up or lost.

He doesn't need to make 154. He can keep fighting at 140+ if he wants. Are you seriously telling me if Pac came in at a comfortable 150 and Cotto came in at 154 you would favour Cotto?

    Don't get your point here.

I doubt that too. All I'm saying is that there are enough people here saying that Pacquiao hurt Marg with body shots and you can bet Cotto saw that and will do the same. I'm saying he doesn't possess that punch and at this point in his career, he lacks the nuts to throw a straight right hand to the body like Pac was hurting Margarito with.

What I mean is either you give him "credit" for "beating" Paul Williams and "losing" to Molina, or you go by the reality which is that he is 0-1-1 in his last two fights, either way I don't see how you would put him ahead of guys who have titles and are undefeated in the division. I believe Canelo beats Molina, as an example...

And if he thought Lara won both? :huh You can't try to apply a rule regarding contrtoversial calls.

Personally, I was fine with the draw vs. Molina, but Lara clearly beat WIlliams.

My 2 cents on those having titles vs. those who do not. Placing one who has a title higher based on the belt goes against what most boxing fans think, that there are too many titles in each division. There is only and always will be ONE real champ per division. I see those with titles as nothing more then top contenders. And therefore I don't adhere to any preconceived notion that fighter with title > fighter w/o title. It's a case by case thing to consider actually. But just automatically placing a guy w/ a title over one w/o is wrong. Just my opinion.

No Cotto sucks. If he isn't fighting a can driver he's not winning in this point and time. What has he done at 154. KO a guy who couldn't even walk. Plus Margarito ****s him up again. Cotto weighs like 180 right now. He's going to tire and run like always.

Out of all those, I think Lara tops them. Cotto, even though is one of my favorite active fighters at the moment won a paper belt from Foreman. You never heard of Foreman before and after him, meaning he was hyped up to make the fight seem competitive. Saul, who is somewhat talented, is way to green, and needs to fight some B- fighters at the very least.

Actually, most people who follow boxing more than the very casual effort you apparently put in had heard of Foreman.
