Katsidis is past his best, but that said a Murray fight would still be ridiculous from Peters. A guy that's beaten fairly handily by Gavin Rees should not be thrown in at an abundantly higher level. Particularly against someone who hits that hard, combined with Murray's poor defence.

I'm up for it, need to get the old snot quarterized soon but I am assured that its no biggie (the operation that is not me schnozle) and Stapo would have to make 12st - if he cant then I should be allowed load my gloves with cement up to the amount that he is over that weight. :deal

so it turns out that Furys mother was irish after all and her birth cert has turned up.

bit gutted that he got booted out of the seniors now because he could have won a medal for Ireland.

she is from Antrim not Tipp or Galway and is Andy Lee's first cousin. Price's from Nutts Corner.

Is it controversial for me to say that Wayne McCullough possessed a better chin than Hagler? Or, at least, a somewhat more proven one.

Naseem couldn't get him out of there and he was one of the hardest hitting punchers in the history of the division. And it's not like McCullough was a defensive wizard slipping Naz's shots. It's a reasonable opinion.

I sat through 12 rounds of Wayne getting pasted by Harrison in the Braehead Arena. It was cringeworthy and excruciating to watch.

Scott looked massive in the ring, about two weight divisions bigger than wayne. McCullough took a lot of punishment and never shifted, the man truly has a beard of iron

I think McCullough fought much harder punchers than Hagler over the course of his career, relative to weight class of course, and he had a real ability to block punches with his cranium(as you've both stated), whereas Hagler at least had some good defensive subtleties to his game. The fact he never went down is a real testament to him, particularly when you take his fighting style into consideration, and I really don't like McCullough very much.

No way Katsidis vs Murray happens. Katsidis could actually sustain the workrate Rees had for the first 6 rounds while applying more pressure. Not that I think the fight would go 6 rounds. Id be suprised if it went 3. Doubt if theyd be able to afford Kats anyway
