    WON 24 ( KO 13 ):

13 tells something about his power, SOB is not a puncher, but if you look closely you can see that the man never KO anyone, not even that cab drivers from his first 20 fights. He also has very few knockdowns when that cab drivers chose to fall down themselves like this piece of s**t:

Almost all of his so called KOs are by TKO ! This guy has absolutely no power at all. How can someone put him number 1 if he has less power than a woman ? SOB is a joke, noone at this level could be afraid of him.

Not to mention that he has such a boring , ugly and dirty style, is very arrogant and fights only in his hometown.

This joker, 2004 gold medalist, number 1 SMW ? :****off:****:gun:smh:ass:hang

He already lost to Bika, wake up people !

Iceman, where's the answer to my question ? Do you think Ward will ever finish someone with a punch ? He has more chances to do that with his headbutts. lol

awwww who did he headbutt? the viking warrior ? some ****ing warrior....
for a guy with no power , how come no one is beating his ass?
last time i checked...you didnt have to have a 90% ko rate to be elite...seen arthur abrahams ko%? hows he doing? kessler has a good knock out rate vs garbage....
to answer your question...he doesnt need to knock these guys out to win, besides
there has been 10 fights in this super 6 tourney..
    only 2 kos
one was jermain taylor in the last round
the other was alan green who had no business in this tourney

so where is all the power everywhere else?

In my opinion Ward got beaten by Bika.

Also, who has he beaten till now ?

    - Allan Green "who has no business in this tourney" ?
    - Abraham the most limited fighter ever ?
    - blind Kessler, in his worst shape of his life ?
    - maybe Bika, who got robbed by at least a draw !

    Bute, Froch .

    Agreed.
That's a bit overdramatic, but Froch and even Dirrell (until he faked beïng KO'd when down) dominated him more.
With Ward headbutting, holding and hitting away.
Bika lost, but the fight was a lot closer as the scorecards.

I think the fact that he doesn't seem to have much power at all, just illustrates how good the guy actually is.

Power isn't everything, plenty of great fighters who were not great punchers.

Though I must say I am not as impressed by Ward as some have been. He is a good technician and is effective at what he does but to me he doesn't look unbeatable. He looked great against Kessler but his subsequent performances have left me cold. Will be interesting to see how he copes when he is faced with adversity and doesn't have home town advantage.

Fact no1 - Andre is a boring SOB.

He makes klitchkos and mayweathers fights look interesting.

the final shouldnt be in the US

Ward hasnt been outside US yet, so wouldnt it be fair

if the final was in let say.. Copenhagen? or even London

Froch distance traveled during supersix: 9999.9 miles

Ward distance traveled during supersix: 35.3 miles

once the S6 is done and Ward takes several steps back in competition to smash fraudulent disgrace Lucy Bute who knows.. Ward could shatter that china chin with one of his signature jab-headbutt combinations..

He still fights like an amateur and he is helped by referees every time. When he's in trouble he starts to hold, head butt, hit after the referee intervenes and he got away with this almost every fight. Fight in Europe with neutral referees and then we'll see if he's really that good.
BTW holding and clinching is not the same thing. Holding is illegal in boxing. Dirrel hold in the Froch match and he got penalized. Ward also needs to get penalized for successive holding or for fighting with his head down.

I think it sucks if you are a boxer and you have no power to ko people, you know before the fight starts you need to be in the best shape and stay alert to dominate for 12 rounds, you cant make it a early night, you will take more punches and you cant have your power bail you out when you are losing.
In that way I respect guys like ward and bradley, they do what they have to do to get the W and keep winning.
