    Funny how the cookie crumbles.

I think they should suspend judges with crap cards and let the fighters have a designated amount of fights before a mandatory rematch. Sometimes back to back is too much to ask for tough fights, but the guys need to meet again or it is ruled a NC.

Sorry, all the judges at ringside and the TV commentators had the Lara-Molina fight a draw. That was a very tight fight, Lara hardly trained for that one but just look at how good he looked in this one and they took it away from him.

Juv : Please explain how Williams could have won 6-7 rounds based on the following stats.

If you score the fight based on connect % : 12-0 Lara
If you score the fight based on power punches landed/round : 7-4-1 Lara
If you score the fight based on punches landed/round : 6-4-2 Lara
If you score the fight based on punches thrown (or punches missed) : 12-0 PW

And despite the fight being close from a punches landed standpoint, Lara was landing much more flush than PW.

They suspended the jugdes but said they found no evidence of conspiracy or wrong-doing. Which is hilarious to me, because in essence they are saying "we suspended these judges for their terrible scoring, but we see no reason to overturn the decision.." WTF!

Makes no ****ing sense ... that's like going to prison for something u didn't do and then being free because justice was served and ur innocense was proven but it remains in ur records now because they can't change the fact that u been to jail. FAIL

But either way its a step in the right direction

I don't see this as positive, especially if they are basing it on what they saw in the fight. I could understand if there were questionable relationships, or some evidence of bribery, or something illegal. But to base this strictly on their views of the fight is a dangerous precedent.

Somebody wanted those judges. That somebody should be the one suspended.

If you want to catch a criminal you need to have a cash reward. If they got 25k in a fund and offered any judge approached by a promoter to favor his/her fighter this cash reward watch how things would change.

Saying that the commission holding the judges accountable is not enough for me. Whoever selected them should also be in hot water, as their records clearly should have clearly indicated that they were unqualified for a fight like this. Corruption doesn't have to operate directly through the judges themselves; the person who puts them in that position could instead be the one who is corrupt.
