    I thought this was going to be a lightweight title defense. Maybe I'm an anal boxing geek, but I'm disappointed Marquez doesn't get another linear title defense under his belt on the night.

    he needs to be more familiar at the weight so by the time he fights pacquiao, he would have fought 2 times above 135 already. preparing for the pac fight is probabaly more important for him than to have a linear defense of the 135 title.

    Hopefully JMM won't weigh much more for the Pac fight. He needs to stay at a comfortable weight in order to be effective.
