Nobody is saying the punch is fake, the concern is more on Ramos' reaction after it hit him...its like " uughh! that was a good one...owww!...oopps i'm down...wait...its better this way... " That was a good counter, but that really was really awkward...

Come on, IB. The KD was legit, but the guy just laid down and closed his eyes. Sure, it hurt to get knocked down, but he could have got up. Maybe the guy was just tired and wanted to take a power-nap.

Already made a post atop concerning that:

Nah, that wasn't the fight I was thinking of. It was a combo of two fights I was thinking of...for some reason I thought it was a 6-9 fighter, but no I was thinking of his DQ loss. He was rocked in one round, and his other decision loss against Walter Estrada where he was dropped a couple of times in the fight.

He hit Pac with that same punch in their second fight and had him tipsy. Thats a strong punch for Marquez.

Who cares, the long over due third fight between Pacquiao and Marquez is on. They are 1-1 against each other in my book.

Yeah, it was a dive. Just saw the KO in the other thread. It looked like the punch legitimately hurt him and he took advantage of the situation, laid down on the canvas, stayed motionless, and closed his eyes in order to sell the KO. Blatant dive.

    Oh well, on to Pacquiao.

The first words that came out of my mouth after seeing the KO, live was "Nagpatay-patayan?! Hah." ("He's playing dead?! LOL")

It's bad for the people who payed for the main event fight (overall, the card's alright, though) but in the bigger picture, avoiding stupid accidents like bad headbutt cuts and other silly injuries, so close to a big fight is alright.

legit ko but not "out cold", that was pure acting, if you watch some mma, a fighter who gets caught with lights out punch just falls down like log, this ramos still had the instinct to have a safe landing.

Nope. Ramos has a glass jaw, and modern boxing fans are so blind to poor punch resistance they can't even spot a china chin when it gets brutally shattered right in front of their eyes!!!

That's why we need the Chincheckers on this site, people! :nod
