A healthy Haye DID fight Wlad. There was nothing wrong with his toe. Only an idiot could watch that fight and think otherwise.

    Haye's time is over.

    Bu-bye, Davey.

Surely the best fight out there for the gobshite would be to take on Vitali.I think most folk would pay to see it just to see the fraud get KTFO.

Surely people realize that two boxers were responsible for this shitfest of a fight?

I actually think he had the proper game plan for someone his size to be successful. The problem is that he only executed for 3 or 4 rounds then went into survival mode when Wlad didn't shatter into a thousand pieces upon contact.

People get so emotional about Haye. Forget about all the pre-fight BS, He's not as good as Wlad, but he took Wlad the distance, and his defense was sound. a bit more aggression next time and it's a great fight., What else is there for Wlad

Brits don't want him to fight real contenders because deep down they know that he isn't very good. Haye knows this too.

You must be a pretty hard-core Haye fan to speak with such optimism, skier47. That's okay...we all have our favorites. But right now you have very much a minority opinion. Most people have lost all faith in David. Another poster said they doubted Haye had the stomach to beat a couple of contenders first, and I agree. I think David wants to be the celebrity part-time boxer, like Sugar Ray Leonard. This won't work. It may win events, but not fights. He doesn't deserve another shot right away, plain and simple. Even ONE win over another contender would be enough to get him rolling again though, and that's what he should shoot for.

Fighting Vitali should be Haye's route back to Wlad. That will never happen.

Well... wasn't interested in the first fight, and wouldn't be interested in a second. Why... because Haye brings **** all to the table. Does anyone honestly think Haye swinging for the hills once every three rounds will win him the fight? All he has is a lunging right hand... that's it. Wlad always has been, and always will be to mobile to avoid that shot.

All Haye proved is that he ain't fit to share a ring with Wlad... ever.

Forget another fight... go and watch his movie career take off instead... you might see more action from him..

No American network would buy this fight.

Healthy Haye only exists after he has a win, so there will be no immediate rematch.

No, actually I'm a Wlad fan but I see David's handspeed and power as the key ingredient to giving him a shot of taking the title. He also brings a unique excitement and charisma to the heavyweight division. Once the fight is announced and David starts ranting and raving the fans will forget all about the first fight. After all he has that injury excuse and he showed a much better chin than most people figured. Anyway Wlad just toys with or K.O.s all the other contenders. None of them have David's raw athleticism or salemanship.

Haye wanted to shake up the heavyweight division. It was only him that got shook up.That plonk had numerous chances to fight Wlad, bailed out twice and messed up when he got his chance again. The excusemaker Haye is a massive disappointment.
