yeah gavins at that age now where he should really be breaking into the top 10 in world rankings. frank ****** and most trainers in this country arent good enough for our young talent.

It's a strange start to his career really. You'd expect every fight of his to be live and if not at least televised fully but so far Sky's not taken to his fights a lot to do with opponents i suppose. I remember when Goldenboy tried to sign him, the way things are looking now they will be counting there blessings.

Time for him to drop the Funtime Frankie Monikor. It's a **** anyways but not really helping him.

Boom do you know Arnie? No so how can you say he is a yes man? When he had David barnes and very close to a British title with him he fuked him off because David wanted to be the boss! Now would a yes man do that right at the start of there training career?

Who said that icemax? whoever did is ******ed. Jimmy Tibbs has been the best trainer in Britain for some time! I just don't think Gavin and Arnie are right for each other and i have said it for some time. I don't htink Arnie is a **** trainer either. But to assume i am using this one fight (Gavin vs Woodhouse) as a reason for Frankie to leave Arnie is Ridiculous.

Ok this is my one and only response to this utter bull****! I am one of the most 'disciplinarian' trainers your'll ever meet. If you think you know me so well I shouldn't have to remind you about the boxers that have come and gone from my gym, on my terms! If I can just take you back to when I first started I had two professional fighters ... David Barnes being one of them. Unfortunately David lacked commitment and failed to show up for training on many occasions. I have very high standards and expectations for all my boxers and as David did not meet these standards he was asked to leave and find another gym. This was a big risk for me...I had just started out... But I had to show them who was boss from the very beginning. Another good prospect and suberb amateur was Callum De'ath. Callum turned professional with me after beating Joe Murray in the amateurs. The same happened and Callum was failing to turn up for training...I did not tolerate and Callum like David was told to leave. There were another two good prospects that mirrored the above and they too were shown the door. So... to summarise at Arnie's Gym you shape up or ship out. Frankie Gavin has admitted having dieting issues but regarding his commitment and dedication in the gym... He is one of the best I have ever trained. Now Lirva I have invited you to my gym once before and the offer still stands I am pretty sure after seeing for yourself your opinion of me will change. So far you have declined my offer, maybe you are the 'recruiting officer' from another gym and maybe I would recognise you... Who knows?? And just to close, there is only one boss in Arnie's gym and that's Anthony Farnell... so cut the crap and pay us a visit!

Fair play for coming on and responding Arnie. But boxing is not 3 hours in the gym and then 36 minutes your in the ring. Its 24/7. Gavin not taking his diet seriously is as bad as missing training sessions. all the hard training sessions are irrelevant if your not in proper shape due to a poor diet which Gavin clearly was not last night.

you would think he would have learned his lesson after the Olympics which literally will have cost him at least £1million.

Here is a post from boxrec. Diet Coke and beans on toast its just not the diet of a professional athlete. A dietitian needs to be brought in. People often ask is there a place for modern training and dieting techniques in the sport. This is where it makes the difference. Frankie needs a full time dietitian. If he is to reach the heights that are expected of him its a small outlay for in the long run.

Look at Khan's setup with Ariza who controls diet and supplement as well as strength and conditioning.
