Castillo Vs Marquez at 135 would have been a war for ages...

I would love to see this bloodbath. Both willing warriors who gives everything in the ring.

 

Marquez is better, but a prime Castillo is too much at 135. Castillo by a close decision.

 

I dont like JMM's chances against some of the very good & big LWs like Castillo and Corrales.

Despite being better/greater than them, he's on the small and old side at 135.

He's getting hit more nowadays and was given a pretty rough night by Juan Diaz the first time around. He won nearly every round against Katsidis, but was still touched up quite a bit and dropped and hurt in the 3rd.

Marquez's skills, heart, and smarts will keep him in the fight, but I think Castillo wins a pretty exciting and bruising battle.

Marquez is a truly brilliant counterpuncher and combination puncher who can punch very hard even at 135. However his defence has proven leaky and he is a slowish starter. Castillo too isn't too hard to find and he is himself a slowish starter at times.

You'd have a competitive fight in the middle period after Marquez has to peel himself off the canvas in the early rounds. However as both men take heaps of punishment I think the bigger Castillo proves the more durable down the stretch. Marquez will get hit by too many left hooks (a punch he has proven susceptible to), Castillo's big shot. I see Marquez being stopped (TKO) before the 10th.
