...normal Scottish folk, dont like Edinburgers :deal

 

I fought Arthur and Burns were mates tae both come across as good guys

 

Firstly I am from Edinburgh and have never ever heard some much tripe about scottish people not like edinburgers .Now with regards Alex arthur thats a different thing he has always been about AAA AND TO HELL WITH EVERYONE ELSE. he has never been a well like person who has had dealing with him he is that tight fisted he wakes up to see if he lost any sleep haha . look at facts he was a exceptional talent under peter harrison left as he didnt like being one of a team and its been one trainer after another not one has a nice thing to say about him. he is jealous of ricky and he plays a game with everyone
ricky is one of the nicest person in boxing and its hurts alex as no one really liked him on a personal level they kissed his arse when he was champ . remember he told everyone he was a hibbey yet got his photo with Celtic hat on . he was never a big ticket seller in edinburgh

The situation doesnt need clowns tryin big this up as a potential next fight as it might tempt fate.

Ricky Burns seems a top lad, very good pro and has a great set up around him.Hes got bags and bags of ability and he needs a big fight to prove all the doubters wrong and show what he can do. **** all the England / Scotland bull****, the lads a British fighter and i'd love to see him unify the titles.

 

For what it's worth, I'm from Glasgow and liked Arthur almost as much as I did Harrison. Indeed, when Harrison was finished Arthur was the boxer I supported most.

I have also supported Ricky ever since the Arthur fight.

What Arthur did isn't really all that bad in the cold light of day; and rickster is my favourite active fighter.

I think Ricky would beat Arthur cause AA is finished. AA is tring to annoy Ricky into fighting him, to make a payday But why not take the fight?

1/ Rickys last 3 opponents havent been world class either
2/ Ricky v AA would be a crowd puller so Ricky would get well paid
3/ Ricky gets revenge for an earlier loss.

Give over, if Ricky doesn't get a good opponent next, boxing fans will go mad and he will get severe stick, and its a shame coz hes got the talent, just not getting the fights

 

Harrison is a *****, you don't get legally banned from pubs and city centres for nothing.

 

Pretty much all of Coatbridge was there. There was a good contingent of AAA fans too though. A decent turn out for McAllister too if memory serves.

The atmosphere quickly turned into a heated football style chant off. Extra police were brought in just in case it simmered over. That aside it was a top night.

 

Well I live in Aberdeen, and I have yet to meet anyone who likes Edinburgers....Glasgow is a far superior city, with far nicer people :thumbsup

Anyway this potential matchup would never happen anyway. Doubt AAA could even make SFW again and there would be no incentive for Burns to move up in weight to fight him.
