Toney seems to have an oppinion about everyone.. Ask him how he think he would have done against Ali?
the best form of a close to HW sized toney was probably vs Jirov in 03. Jirov was a good cw but his struggles in that fight don't bode to well for a prime tyson.
I agree.Toney is clearly too stupid and ignorant to know any better,so "journalists" like Ellie Shitbach know exactly what he's doing. We really don't need smug zionist shysters like Shitbach associated with our sport, anyway.
Can't understand sh*t. Can't believe that man was a natural born fighter as well. Probably more skilled than Roy Jones in his prime.
Below 200 Toneys wins over Nunn and Jirov were classics, but at HW his legacy is tainted. If Peter schooled him, prime Tyson would be all over Toney like Popeye Savedra on Miklo. Holy was a shell of himself Toney would of lost a UD vs a prime Evander too.
Listening to Toney in that clip was like listening to an alcoholic on a park bench....made no sense whatsoever....chin like granite perhaps, but he's taken way too many punches over the years. Sometimes you'd wish he went down a few more times to discourage him from keeping on boxing and ending up as incoherent as he is now.
Everytime I see this little clown I always think of this video... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_sWaJX2ndI[/ame] Yep, you heard it right, this dip**** seriously believed that Salita was the p4p no.1, I'm guessing based solely on the fact that they're both Jewish, this was before he started hanging around the Wild Card Gym like a bad smell and before Salita got taken apart by Khan of course .... ever since then this little ***** has been sucking Khans dick.
If you are honestly judging Tyson on those fights, you really need to educate yourself on Tyson... try picking up some DVD's of him in his prime. Bear in mind, Tyson was pretty much a shot fighter by the age of 23 (shortly after he fired Rooney)... he pretty much gave up training, spent his life partying and done everything that a professional boxer shouldn't do, he was a mental wreck - he didn't even train for the Douglas fight! All of the fights you mention come after Tyson had slipped a long, long way. If you want to talk about Tyson's chin, go look at some of the shots that Donovan Ruddock (possibly one of the hardest punchers ever) landed on him, then come back and tell me Tyson had no chin...
