    lmfao.

Kid, you're out of your element, beyond your depth and batting 0.

Take a break. Go watch another episode of yugioh on netflix and come back when your diet of doritos and hot pockets has settled and you're calm enough to actually stick to the topic.

Leonard won that fight and he did what he had to do to win it. I think it would have been foolish of him to stand and trade with MMH. The man had enough power to seperate his liver and his head was as hard as stainless steel.( ask Hearns ) Leonard boxed him and beat him. He stood when he needed to and moved when he had to.:bbb:bbb:bbb

Leonard lost that fight, he ran, only threw pitter patter shots for about 20 seconds at the end of the rounds, did not land even one big punch and he even admitted as much. One of the worst robberies of the 1980's.

Leonard clearly. Hagler was pushing with his punches all night and he looked flat. It's likely that he trained too hard because he had a prolonged camp and Sugar Ray timed the fight well.

The only reason there is controversy about that fight is because Hagler COULD NOT ACCEPT THAT HE LOST TO LEONARD and that train of thought passed on to fans of the sport.

Man look again. He was throwing hard shots at the end of those flurries, but Hagler just has a monster chin so it looked like it didn't do much

LOL. This is what shrinks call projection. It is you that has never seen the fight; in fact, I bet you weren't even alive when the fight happened.

Leonard ran like a ***** and rarely landed those pitter patty punches. Was that mentioned on Legendary Nights?

Extremely close fight. I feel Leonard edged it. I just cannot comprehend Hagler's strategy in the fight. He was trying to beat Leonard at his own game early on! Even later, he couldn't step up the gas as much as he should have. Marv should have won this fight comfortably, but he let this one slip away and unfortunately it was one of the biggest fights of his career.

On a side note, Leonard did very well for a guy who was fighting after a huge break of 5 years and 2 weight classes higher.

I had Leonard by two rounds. Marvin complains alot but in many rounds he didn't pour it on the way he should have. Ray came to win and won the fight barely. Great performance by Ray.

Leonard by a round or two. Don't recall my exact score.

Hagler gave away too many early rounds.

I thought the judges got it right on the night. But they don't always that's for sure.

You're actually right. I watched Legendary Nights before watching the actual fight. And what i found out was that the show is heavily biased toward Hagler. It gave the notion that all Ray did was pitter patter and run. He didn't. He came to fight and won the fight. Hagler was way too slow for Ray that night.

Close fight, split decision by Leonard. I don't know why Hagler believes he won that fight convincingly.

havent scored the fight since i was a kid and i gave it to hagler but with extreme bias

i have tried watching since but the first 2 or 3 rounds are extremely boring
