Agbeko's offense isn't sharp enough though I don't think, he lacks the kind of technique that'd be necessary to really get through and do some damage. Darchinyan offered a kind of awkward aggression(granted, a different one to King Kong's) in his own right, and that didn't go particularly well, against a version of Donaire I don't believe to be as complete as the current one. Joseph's got that tendency to drop his hands and implore the opponent to do something when things aren't work particularly swimmingly for him, and that's a recipe for disaster against Nonito, who'll just pick him off even worse than he was before hand.

I suppose I'd pick Rigondeaux to have more of a chance than the others, he will be able to make him miss at least in the early going, and he will be able to find room for his left hooks to the body if nothing else. The only problem is that Donaire can and will adapt to the situation at hand. As I said in my thread earlier, he stopped throwing the jab against Sydorenko from his guard, and began to throw it from the waist, I think that'd actually work a treat against Rigo, who I don't think would see that kind of shot coming at him with the way he carries his right hand. He can make Donaire lead with single puches if he forces him to go forward though, don't let him pick you off.

Ward always fights at home in his comfort zone, with he judges in his favour. Fighters have to go there and basically knock him out to get a decision.

 

Even so, why do you think he won't fight away from home? If he did happen to be in a close contest, he would get the decision. The rest of the super 6 candidates have fought at home and away, what is so special about him.

 

He fought in the Caymen Islands, I think that qualifies as 'away from home', dont'cha think shortstack?

Competing at home with your fans gives a significant psychological edge, in every sport, home records are far superior than away records, of the course the matches are still played on football pitches, rugby pitches, cricket grounds etc why is there such a discrepancy in home and way form?
