It's funny seeing people making excuses for athletes who end up broke, regardless of whether it's a boxer, football player, etc. Regardless of their contractual obligations to their manager, agent, etc, they still make more in a few years than almost everyone makes in their life. It's their own poor financial management that leads to them being broke. We'll see the same thing with Floyd and plenty of other fighters eventually. Hagler was a blue collar guy who didn't change his lifestyle much when he got rich, there's a reason he's doing fine while Hearns with his massive entourage is broke.

 

pac is surrounded by leeches, as of now, there are two warring sides inside Pac's team. one is Koncz's side and the other is Timothy Sladeck's side, both foreign leeches who appeared out of nowhere and now wants to take control of the camp, both have been earning money off pac's name and getting cuts from endorsement deals, biography, websites, etc.

Manny has been spending his own money for other people, during the typhoons. Also, he built a hospital using his own money. He also gives out relief goods and such on a regular basis. Pretty much. Floyd since he first came out to fight Marquez was telling ppl how stupid Pac is. A man that will sign any contract plus getting raped by Arum n GBP.. proof is in the pudding now.

 

It's not a joke. Look at the boxing 360 and 24/7, when he first started on that show he was sharing an apartment with a bunch of people. Now he has a mansion. I think he just started making money after the DLH fight. I think he made a lot of money fighting Cotto, Margarito and Clottey.

26 million seems about right. I do think he could have made more but what do you expect from a guy without an education and who isn't from this country but who has an American promoter, and who didn't promote himself?

Don King did the same thing to a lot of fighters. Still 26 million aint bad and the fight with Floyd should get him 100 million, along with the Nike deal.
