Breidis Prescott vs Paul McCloskey

I disagree McCloskey was **** against Khan and is better than that........
If Khan fought prescot again it woulsd be a onesided arse raping of the highest degree worse than Joe.c against Lacy...:bart

 

Well your wrong my friends Khan had a 55% sucess rate in that fight and in boxing terms thats massive!

We all know that they was going to but when you watch McCloskey slating Khan it makes me laugh when he actual landed 6 shots in 18 minutes of fighting!

Then you have the winner (Prescott) calling out the fighter he beat asking for a re-match! Now you have to admit thats funny.

McCloskey has to knock out Prescott in my eyes to warrant being world class! He is at the stage were its make or brake into the world scene and unless he can knock out Prescott he would have no chance against slower guys like him for example Maidana, Kotelnik etc guys thats would at this stage school him. If he was 23 years old i may look at it a different way but both guys are saying there world class and they deserve a shot so there is no other way to look at it.

I watched the reply last night on Primetime and was amazed at Khan throwing 4 and 5 punch combination straight at McCloskey and missing everyone, only stopping after he had run into McCloskey.

So considering that I think you are being a touch biased and disrespectful towards McCloskey by calling him domestic level, especially when he was European champion at the time.

Anyway, I think it makes for a good match up with no clear favourite in my mind although the bookies will probably have McCloskey favourite.

McCloskey and co deserve all the **** they get. Look at how disrespectful they where to Khan pre-fight, with the t-shirts and all. Now that he gets some stick for putting up a woeful attempt at beating Khan, you wanna get all up in arms... yeah nice try.

 

I think that's a fair comment. Prescott has already been put back in his place by Vasquez and Mitchell and anyone who isn't a retarted ball-swinger knows full well that back-pedalling your way to a UD over him doesn't make you a world level fighter. Still, it'll con a few casual fans in Northern Ireland into thinking that McCloskey is relevant at the top level and probably earn him a another pay day so good luck to them.
