hearns would annihalate burley h2h, as well as the top 10 guys on your list with the possible exception of SRL (who got lucky the first time).

Let's not go overboard. He would annihilate Robinson? Griffith? Walker? Napoles? I think not. In fact I'd only surely pick him to beat Napoles of that group.

Good list, But I think Hearns, Trinidad and Mosley have to be on it.

What criteria are you using that allows you to omit Tommy Hearns?

OK, annihalate is too strong a term. at the worst he'd decision robinson, griffith and napoles. i've never seen walker, but he'd probably KO the old timer. i just rate hearns very highly.

Leaving Hearns out of a top ten (to say nothing of a top 20) is bad enough, but then to put Benitez ten spots higher than him is totally baffling...

I'll put one out...'Head to Head' list.
    Ray Robinson
    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Kid Gavilan
    Thomas Hearns
    *Jose Napoles/Emile Griffith/Luis Rodriguez
    Charley Burley
    Roberto Duran
    Pernell Whitaker
    Shane Mosely
    Mickey Walker
    Felix Trinidad
    Henry Armstrong
    Carmen Basilio
    Billy Graham
    Oscar DeLahoya
    Joe Walcott
Damn...this is hard so many variables to consider style wise....Like my log jam at 5,6,and7...I like Napoles over Griffith,Griffith over Rodriguez, and Rodriguez over Napoles!
I know that I've have alot of holes in this...help me out with it. This isn't a legacy list strictly H2H.

And, even then, the only surefire reason to pick him over mantequilla is the latter's tendency to cut in some of his fights. Napoles would be a live, live dog against Tommy, though.
