Rogan towing that company line. It's funny how he gets all objective when Bas Rutten is on his show. Then again probably the weed.

I agree with him, it's a good fight. But headlining and Arena show? GTFO of here Joe

Just for argument's sake Stoo - the last television show they did from an arena was Ultimate Fight Night 24 in Seattle. That was headlined by Davis vs. Ortiz and then got changed to Davis vs. Little Nog. I don't see how this is worse than either of those fights - particularly as Munoz vs Leben should be a good fight.

But the US has it's fair share of big fights and Arena shows in the States are par for the course

Besides the point. Put it this way, if we had to order this via PPV, Id probably skip this one, let alone buy a ticket and travel costs and other general expenses ect

The following fights have been confirmed on the UFC website.

    Chris Leben vs. Mark Muñoz
    Thiago Alves vs. Papy Abedi
    Brad Pickett vs. Renan Barão
    Mark Scanlon vs. James Head
    Michihiro Omigawa vs. Jason Young
    Terry Etim vs. Edward Faaloloto
    Paul Taylor vs. Anthony Njokuani

I'm guessing there will be three or four more fights still to be announced, hoping for some big names.

Its a fair point but he had a big gap in his career. The Franklin fight was catch weight but what about the Lindland win and a couple before that.

Is it an awesome card ? No but settle the **** down its going to be on Spike TV like every single UK event is. Leben vs Munoz could have title implications. Munoz has been tearing it up as a Middleweight and with this win he could very well be next in line and even with Leben hes won some big fights recently another 1 here puts him in serious contention. Both are very powerful and dangerous guys who usually put on good fights. Solid main event for a free show better then something like Akiyama vs Bisping.

Brad Pickett vs Renan Barao is also a great fight. Alot of people might not know who they are but Pickett has defeat Demtrius Johnson (whos getting the next shot at Cruz) is 3-1 in the WEC/UFC and his only loss was a hell of an effort vs Scott Jorgenson. Barao is on an amazing 26 fight win streak and 3 of those where in Zuffa companies. Although Faber-Bowles probably gets the next title shot the winner if this fight is right there knocking on the door as well.

Im not all that exicted about the opponets but you got Thiago Alves and John Hathaway each fighting on the card and I always like seeing those 2 in action. Plus a fight which better make the main card that has the potential to be FOTY is Paul Taylor vs Anthony Njokuani.

That's actually a cracking little fight. I'm a fan of both guys.

Now I read that Dominick Cruz is going to defend his title in October... at a 'UFC Live' event! That is ****ing bull****. Why is a title fight not on a main numbered UFC event when it's in the same month?!

Same as ever, Brit cards are average at best and Rogan talks out of his ass
