Is Bernard Hopkins being underestimated?

Calzaghe is going to slap Mary into a retirement home

 

Hopkins will no doubt resort to cheating tactics such as head butts and armlocks; the reason he insisted the fight be in Las Vegas is so he can get away with these "tactics" and haul in a crooked decision via crooked ass judges. This **** won't work though. Calzaghe is too young and strong and throws way too many punches for the old cheater to win.

 

Hopkins will just throw lead rights all night and then duck under Calzaghe. He'll generally try to make it a messy fight and squeak out a decision.

If Calzaghe is not on his game he could get beaten. Nothing would surprise me with that sly old fox Hopkins.

 

A year ago, the vast majority of people would have picked Hopkins.

Two years ago just about everyone outside of Europe.

Still about 1 in every 3 pick Hopkins, each and everyone of these people should be put down.

 

Having thought about it for the last few hours I would say no. Hopkins is being overestimated by people on here. He will lose by a long way.

Im beginning to think the same thing. This would be a shame, id prefer the winner of PAvlik/Taylor or another 175 title holder like Woods or Dawson....

I'm not sure he's being underestimated. The poll was about right, considering what he's showed us in recent fights

If Hopkins fights hes going to be beatan like a drum, my guess is after 2rds he sees he has no chance so he fights a boring fight to survive.
