whats with the excuse that hatton doesn't belong at 147?

He is only a light heavy between fights because he is a big fat biffa that cant stay out of the chip shop. His best weight is 140 and doesnt seem to have the frame for welterweight.

 

i think hattons an elite fighter,i cant see anyone giving him much trouble at lww,hes a 4 time world champion,ring magazine champion,top 15p4p beat legends in kosta tszyu and JLC,won a title a ww(yes it was difficult but he still did it) i would go as far as saying he has a resume comparable to joe's other than the longeivity.

just because ricky walks around at 180 doesnt mean anything,its hardly like hes trim,hes fat,alot of that has to be cut until he get into fighting condition,this is when the extra 7lbs begin to matter,at 140 he probably can keep his stregth and use this to his advantage at lww which is why he is decidedly not a 147lber.

Yea, you missed the point, anyway.....

Hatton is a chubby person with stubby arms. He doesn't carry weight very well at all. And as his style is based around strength, dominating on the inside, mauling etc....he needs to be the stronger man and against men who can't make 140 with bigger frames, his style is nullified.

those were the suckers who bought into all the Hatton hype over the years and a show like 24/7 just magnified it, by making Hatton out to be a modern day Duran atsch .
Mayweather has had much tougher fights. Some of us could see the 1-sided affair coming.
