This is Bute's toughest test. And Pavlik is over the hill and was never anything special and a career MW. Bute fighting the non elite's yet again!!

I don't know what they were on.

The German TV commentators, the Swedish TV commentators, The Norwegian, the Australian, and almost all others had Calzaghe easily winning. In the biggest poll on ESB after the fight about 90% had Calzaghe winning. ALL had Calzaghe winning either 8 or 9 rounds.

Unlike most other cities/countries, the average guy in the streets knows their local boxers. People know who Lucian Bute and Jean Pascal are. Anyone who is a fan of sports goes to, or at the very least watches the fights. I have been to many big fights, Taylor/Hopkins I and II, Mayweather/Judah, Mosely/Wright I, Mosely/De La Hoya, Klitzchaco/Peter, Froch/Johnson, Cotto/Urkal, Miranda/Abraham I and II, Miranda/Pavlik... I can go on and on. I have never felt more energy as I did in the Bell Centre. I have never heard such loud fans or seen a stadium as large and as filled as I did against Miranda/Bute. It was incomparable to any fight I have seen. If you think about it, Miranda/Bute was not even considered a BIG fight. I can't imagine how insane that stadium, for that matter the entire city would be if an undefeated Andre Ward came to fight the undefeated Lucian Bute. That is a fight I would not want to miss live.

I can't compare cause I haven't been to live bouts in the States. It's interesting to hear from neutral outside sources.

Bute vs Ward is planned to take place in MSG. No way they would make that one in Montreal...
